Re: BTR: It is a Great Time to be a Zelda Fan.

You didn't like WW when you saw the trailer?Shesh that loses you a few points, anyway nice article. It's well writen and is titled to some praise but when is it not good to be a Zelda fan(besides during those crappy CD-i games). We enjoy the great games of the series which are jewels themselves even as standalone titles.I'd like to meet someone who doesn't enjoy Zelda games.
P.S.Where can you get sound tracks for the games?I could rip them from my carts/disc but that's a bit dangerous(don't ask how I can).

Recently I haven't been so enthused about video games as normal, having beaten all but a scant few of mine. But your article has inspired me to go back and replay as many of my Zelda games as I can. Just as I left the page I felt this need to go do it. For that, Lord-of-Shadow, I salute you.

finnaly, an article that isnt criticle of Zelda

I like it los, I can totally dig that zelda feeling you have. Sitting there, dreaming of the possibilities, replaying tWW and OoT almost certain that this new zelda will be much much better.

Re: BTR: It is a Great Time to be a Zelda Fan.

Great article. It really captured the feeling that is in the air at the moment. Especially this close to E3 as well. This is the first time I've really had this feeling as when The Wind Waker came out, I hadn't stepped into this online Zelda community. I wasn't hyped about it. I was merely intrigued, interested. Now, though, now it is a different story. As you read through the forums and Future Zelda in particular, there is just something there. Something undeniably fantastic; something that won't let go of you. It is a new Zelda game on the horizon.

Re: BTR: It is a Great Time to be a Zelda Fan.

Nice article! I totally know where you're coming from. After reading an aticle about the new Zelda, I got all pumped up and ready for the game, but sadly it's not out yet... Yes, a new Zelda story and adventure to explore is the thing I want the most right now... Your article has made me realize that even more *sigh*.

I started WW again, and I'm playing Alttp as well, and I'm gonna start on LoZ too. I'm really, really disappointed that I no longer have MM or OoT, I'd play all five, if I had 'em (I used to have LA, but it got some pretty bad water damage *sigh*, I can't even remember how...) Oh, and the Oracles! I wonder if I can multi-task that well... borrow MM and OoT from someone, and I'll have 7 games to play, hmmm...

Re: BTR: It is a Great Time to be a Zelda Fan.

Awsome article! It's probably the first one on this site that's I've taken the time to read completly.
You made me want to go attempt to beat AoL and LoZ again. I've never beaten Alttp though. But I plan to right now!!!!

Thank you for rejuvinating my fire for playing the Zelda games.

Re: BTR: It is a Great Time to be a Zelda Fan.

A very good article, as usual. I do know the feeling you're talking about, though for me it usually occurs closer to the release date than it does to right before some major information is going to be revealed (as it surely will at E3). Though now that I think of it this is the first time that I've actually been following a game this closely, so perhaps that has something to do with it. For the last few games I've only started looking for details after a release date is finalized as well though; so then again its probably just me. I guess the anticipation really kicks in for me when I know that I'll be playing the game in the not-too-distant future.
