Tetraforce

In OoT links hyrulian sheild has the Triforce on the top and an upside down peice on the bottom. Now, if four equalateral triangles are combined they can for a tetragon. Zelda from tWW has another alias. Tetra

Any connection? No? Yes? Maybe? Post your opinion.

Interesting connection. Perhaps Nintendo thought far ahead into the future to allow themselves to plan future games therefore keeping Zelda fresh. That is just a thought because I honestly didn't think Nintendo would devise such a strategic plan.

In Link to the Past the shield has two extra triangles on it.

It's there to look pretty.

Maybe the two triangles will have a future use. Maybe in Loz 05' you will see a tetraforce.

Tetra is also I fish. And if you think about it, that is probably why that is her name, you know, Fish:irate so, ya.


But that is an awsome theory, but The farthest Nintendo is probably planning on the zelda games so far (plot wise) is the one that is coming out after Zelda'05, which will come out bob knows when.

Argh, not this again. There is no Tetraforce. There is the Triforce. The fourth triangle is merely a decoration, possibly symbolising the courage that the Hylian knights are supposed to show in defense of their kingdom. Since there's been no actual mention of any Tetraforce in anything outside of fan fiction, to believe in the Tetraforce would be to believe everything else that has been written in fan fiction...and that's just about everything imaginable.

Well said, Sear. There's a distinct possibility that the fourth triangle is simply for decoration. Or it might be to symbolise the Triforce of Courage that Link possesses. Nah, probably just to look cool.

Maybe Tatra's name came from it. The producers could have seen that, and just decided to name her it. NO special powers or anything, just a name. Although, if there is a Tetra fish, that may have something too.

Really? Ive never herd of this before. I thought it was my idea. And I never said there WAS a tetra force, I just thought that maybe the image that resembled a tetrforce had a part in the name of Tetra.

Interesting coincidence though. Name of a fish and a symbol on the front of the Hyrulian sheild.

Yes, what Sear said, there's the Triforce, and that's it. And besides, would Nintendo connect Tetra with the triforce, and make Zelda fans haywire about it?

People have a way of connecting things when they make video games. Im sure they just did that (if they even had intentions to) as a neat coincidence. Its kinda neat somtimes just to see how they incorperate little things like that for us to analyze insanely over about. So nothing special really.

My thoughts exactly. Tetraforce has not, and never will, exist. There have probably been hundreds of forums who discussed this, but the answer is no.

Riiiight. If you haven't played the Windwaker, you wouldn't know that Tetra is Zelda. That was a spoiler, that was. 8bit, you probably should have put that in spoiler format.

Exactly, and thats what im hoping it is. (if it was intended) I DONT want a Tetraforce. I like the Triforce way to much.

What I do like are the little details Nintendo puts into their games. This could be an example

Ther is no Tetraforce, to see my opinion, read sear's post. And four equilateral triangles don't form a tetragon, they form a bigger equilateral triangle.

Its just there for decoration unless if you put it in the center it would be one piece of the triforce so who knows.

Maybe Tetra has something to do with the Japanese Language... I don't think there is a fourth triforce piece. That is just bologna. If there is, I'll hang myself.

in oot the goddesses create a triforce not a tetraforce. Dont you think that if there are four peaces there would have to be four goddesses, but there aren't. only three. So yah, triforce not tetraforce.

May be that forth triangle is some kind of anti triforce. If so who would be the god/godess who would create an evil triforce.
