Who thinks Nintendo should make somekind Zelda movie?
I think they should , based on the two N64 games because in my opinion those were the most interesting so far.

A LoZ movie would be pretty cool, only if it was done really well though... It'd have to be animation, I think, and as for the story, I dunno what would be good. I've never been dissappointed with a Zelda Legend, so I think I could go for a surprise.

I agree with making a Zelda movie.But using Disney/LOTR production values,NOT House of the Dead/Super Mario Bros production values.

There have been thousands of topics on this. Anyway, yes I do. But it should go along with the LoZ then AoL then ALttP and so on.

Long Story: I think I once saw a Zelda movie on eBay. But anyway, NO. Unless I saw some screenshots and got a sample of Link's voice(remember the Zelda cartoon) and made sure he doesn't say "Well Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me Princess" I wouldn't buy it. If they had one of those, or they even thought about it, I woulld plant a stargate right outside Nintendo, dial it, and send a bomb through.

Short Story: No.

Let's see, what happened when they tried to make a Legend of Zelda cartoon series? Yes, that's right, it was totally and completely antithesis to all that Zelda stood for. Link was an arrogant loud-mouth, instead of a quiet hero. Zelda acted like some high-school girl. And then the fairy...>_>;

The cartoon sucked. I'd be very wary of any kind of Zelda movie or anything.

i really wouldn't want them to make a zelda movie, because if they did then it probably wouldn't be that good because look at the cartoons.... if they did make a movie, i would want em to base it on oot because in my opinion it has the best storyline with the master sword and link growing up and stuff like that, and i would want it to kinda be like lord of the rings cause that had a lot of battles and they could put a scene where when ganondorf takes over hyrule, he sends an army and the hylians are defending the castle, and only few escape, that would be great, wouldn't u agree?

A mvie would probably mess up the series...
It'd be cool if it didn't mess up the series though, and there have already been threads on this...

Well it would be alright espcialy if this was the script . This would do great for a real people acting.

There already is an zelda cartoon...

Hmm... I would personally love to see a Zelda movie. It would, of course, have to be on with animation (3D or 2D) but - I am slightly worried about how it would turn out ^^'

If they bothered and put money into it, then I reckon it would be quite good. However, they'd have to give Link and voice, and I prefer him being a mute... as it allows you to add personality to him yourself and imagine how he would be... if you had a voice actor it would take away that prevelage Miyamoto gave us in the games.

I'm on the Yay and nay side. If they did, The quality would need to be out the roof. Also, I do like Link as a silent person, but I have played games like Tales of Symphonia an would like to see Link have the ability to talk. The downside is that it would be LONG and people would not enjoy it unless they were even somewhat a fan.

if they made a movie they whould have to make link talk and they would more likely get the cheesyest american teenager ever who's never done a voice over in his life to do links voice (e.g ZELDA cartoon)
they have nearly messed up mario's pride with a movie
maybe if miyamoto does the movie( I heard some where nintendo are looking into the animation buiness) it might be ok, anime style of coures NOT live action as anyone whos seen the jap zelda ad for LTTP whould agree.

I think it would be very awesome, but I just couldn't get over the fact of Link talking, no matter what voice it is I just can't seem to picture it, but I think they should have a Zelda movie based on the Ocarina of Time, now that would be awesome.

Resident Evil isnt only a game but also a movie...
There's coming a movie of Metroid also...
So why not zelda??

But if you do it, do it good... I just love.. repeat, just love oot!!
But a bad movie could spoil it all..

playing a zelda game is much cooler than seeing a zelda movie!!!!

My answer is ..... NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Personally I'd prefer that one wasn't made. I'm simply far too leery & worried of the quality after seeing the Mario movie.

Tomb Raider & Resident Evil were decent enough movies (I can't say for the sequels as I haven't seen them yet). But those two are hardly related to anything Zelda!

But... No. I'm just too concerned that the quality would be horrible & that it would be geared towards some of the youngest of audiences.

No way! I definately don't think that Nintendo should make a Zelda movie. It wouldn't work anyway. Voice-acting for Link is one of the reasons why it wouldn't work.

History has shown that all video games that become movies are inevitably crappy. Few things have changed that. The main reason is because the movie will never live up to the experience given by the video game. Also, Link with a voice isn't something to think about and character sketches of Link are vague at best since there is little to no beckground concerning his overall personality (even though he seems like the strong silent type)

I do agree, use the Ocarina of Time character, don’t change them. I wouldn’t want to see Wind Waker Link in an OoT movie; it would spoil the whole thing. Also, use the same storyline/plot/problem, I wouldn’t want to see a Majora’s Mask plot in an Ocarina of Time movie.
