Restarting an old timeline disscusion

While I was compiling my timeline an old thought came to me.I recall back then when WW came out some people had the thought that WW took place in a separate timeline from MM.The two lines the original and future,young and adult Link.This though makes sense because no hero appearing makes me think Link had no desendants to carry on his will in the future so ganon took over.Another thing in ALttp all the land formations of Oot are there which is why people think the great sea was drained which I doubt because old Hyrule was destroyed at the end of WW.What's your views on this old(but still functional) disscusion.
