Favourite Zelda Overworld

So, here we are once again and now its the decision of choosing your favorite overall overworld, I choose Termina for many reasons here are just some:

Termina is a very different world to Hyrule, its shrouded with past cultures very like Hyrule is, and still some of its past histories can still be found within the modern surroundings. Termina is definately more vast and beautiful, its landscape and landmarks are all very admirable and captivating. I like the concept of a race having its very own land and each with its very own royalty and goverment, its interesting to see the numerous differences in the politcal way in which the races act towards a certain situation. The bosses were also fantastic, one a gigantic Jungle Warrior, another a Mechanical Monster, and the brilliant idea of a garantuan carnvious fish. Termina is rich in beauty and culture, and I find the townsfolk certainly more interesting as each has there own occupation and a different personality in which they speak to you.

Overall Termina is great and yes Hyrule may have the history, the classicness but still Termina beats it in my opinion.

Hyrule
Koholint
Labyrina
Termina
Great Sea
Holodrum

They are of many you can choose from

Definatly Subrosia because I don't like light so much plus I would never go cold with all that magma around.I believe I'm more like a subrosian than any other race(besides humans).BTW how many of these different which is the best threads are there?

Re: Favourite Zelda Overworld

My favourite Zelda overworld would have to be Hyrule and Termina. I didn't like the Great Sea that much i found it boring and dull.

I liked Termina the best, although it was small it was neatly layed out and it was awesome. I liked the fact there were like different elements in different compass points such as snow, water ect. And the observatory was cool .

Termina. I loved how it was set up all wierd, and the people/enemies were weird too which really gave Termina a strange, yet cool, atmosphere.

I also liked the evil moon.

Re: Favourite Zelda Overworld

Hmmm. Tough choice between The Great Sea or Termina.

I love them both for separate reasons. Termina was so diverse - the sunny bay, the freezing cold mountains, the dark woodland/swamp, and the desolate Ikana region. And plus Clock Town. It was just so vast and well done.

The Great Sea, however, was also great because it had that "Waterworld" feel (though obviously not as bad as the movie). I loved how each island had its own personality, and I think The Wind Waker generally captured the Zelda magic and atmosphere the best.

So, sorry, but I can't decide!

Re: Favourite Zelda Overworld

All of them! :p
Ok ok, if i had to list them, then it'd be as follows:
1.Hyrule (It's like there's sooo much to explore, i love the rolling green fields!)
2.Termina (Sure it was small, but there was lots to do and see ^^)
3.Great Sea (It was pleasant sailing over the waves)

Re: Favourite Zelda Overworld

I also liked the Great Sea, but all the islands were dull.

Termina seemed more colorful that's why I like it better.

Re: Favourite Zelda Overworld

Oh God I forgot about the moon. The moon was such an opposite to what I thought it would be like. The moon looked so angry but yet inside it, it was so peaceful and green. The children added to the affect too. Truly amazing.
