How many god's do we know?

How many god's do we know from the game? The three godesses, Majora the evil god, who else is there? I don't remember. I remember there was a tower of god's in TWW, but what other god's do we know?

The only ones I can recall are the Gods of Power, Wisdom, and Courage . However, I'm guessing the idea of the "Gods" either got mistranslated, or Nintendo changed their minds when they made OoT, since they all basically served the same purpose.

Well in WW there were the wind gods right? I think from what i remember, Valoo the sky god or whatever.

I found this: The three godesses, Majora, The Great Valoo the almighty God of the Sky,The Great Deku Tree the God of Earth, The Great Jabun the God of the Sea, Zephos the wise and kind God of the Wind

Valoo, The Great Deku Tree and Jabun were not reffered to as "gods" but more like great spirits, lords or guardians in my opinion, Din Farore and Nayru were certainly goddesses and Zephos and Cyclos were Wind Gods, I never really understood those two though, quite a strange bunch

Well, i believe they are ''Gods'', but you don't have too. By the way, Zephos and Cyclos were brother's, they don't like each other, Cyclos is a disgrace to their family, Cyclos dedicated his life to control of Cyclones.

The Goddess of Time is mentioned in MM.

Maybe they were...demi-gods? The goddesses might have left them in charge per se. Just my point of view XD

Truely I beleive that Below the three Gods of the Triforce are the lesser gods. Thinking back I noticed these: Ganon might be a lesser god but I'm not too sure, The Wind Fish certainly had the power of a lesser god but once agin I'm not sure, The Great Deku Tree definately, Jabu Jabu yes, personally I really don't like the fact that Majora is a lesser god, possibly the Maku Trees, Zephos and Cyclos definately, Valoo of course, and Jabun as well. If my list has any errors or if I have left anyone out I apologise.

Personally I do not like this. the "gods" is the only thing I dislike about Zelda games. I am a strong Christian and dislike it alot.

They aren't because Zelda herself said to Link that the Goddess of Time would protect him or something similar in the memory sequence.

With all of those gods, could the Great Fairy be considered one? She kind of acts like one, but only heals. Perhaps a healing god? And couldn't that big statue in the Spirit Temple in OoT be a Gerudo god?

Although she appears to be a lonesome child, she is really the most powerful fairy that has ever roamed the land. She holds the greatest power of all fairies, and stays hidden on Mother and Child Islands, waiting for the Hero to seek her out. The Queen controls all fairies from her magic cove and wishes to help all beings of the land.

We know for sure that there are at least 12 deities in the series. Those who are directly refered to as Gods are as follows:

-Din
-Farore
-Nayru
-The Goddess of the Sands
-The Goddess of Time
-Giant of the East (Termina)
-Giant of the West
-Giant of the North
-Giant of the South
-Lord Jabu-Jabu
-Cyclos
-Zethos

Also, other possible deities include:

-The Wind Fish
-Juban
-The Great Deku Tree
-Valoo
-Majora
-Oni-Deity Link

So we know there are between 12 and 18 deities in the series so far.

Yes Zelda do like to include various deities and gods to change the plot a little and take into my religious belief form, I find it a great idea, there are so many different gods in the Zelda world, its just trying to uncover them all, and yeh The Wind Fish could definately by considered a god
