Whats gonna happen

O.K. we all know that nintendo is not doing so well in terms of sells and will probably of six feet under in the next ten years at most i say, so to the question, whats gonna happen to the zelda serise do you think a differnet company is going to buy nintedo and adopt the zelda serise or what

first of all, things for nintendo aren't that bad, they are not going to dissapear or something like that; this one is going to be nintendo's year, WHY?, there are not good games for Sex box an gay station 2, nintendo already has Resident evil 4, and star fox, thos are not even close to be as good as the new zelda, that is going to kick everyone's asses, The gameboy advance is the most selled console, the strongest one, and the DS is a strong card for nintendo, so forget about that idea of nintendo dissapearing, now immagine that something goes wrong, and I'm wrong, nint6endo can join another company, zelda is one of the strongest franchises, everyone would love to accept zelda for its console

If I'm not mistaken Nintendo did the second best of all the companies last year.

I'm not sure where I read that but I remember it being a pretty legit site.

I don't think Nintendo's going to die, but I would be totally ticked if they merged with another company, or sold Zelda to a different developer. Then I might actually have to get an xbox or ps2.... NOOOOOO!!!!

They said that at E3 2004. They were gaining faster than both and had more sales than XBox.

Yeah there's that, but the thing I read was way more recent, within the last few weeks.

I doubt it, and I actually heard in the news paper or somthing like that, that sony is actually in trouble in terms of money right now, something about spending more money making than selling. If Nintendo does end up being destroyed, they will probably end up just making games like sega did when they went bankrupt, and make games for all the companies, if that ever does happen and they still make games, I hope they make Zelda only for the PS2.

NOOOOO!!!!! Nintendo must stay alive!!!! They can't go under!!!! I have 3,000 shares of stock with them!!!!! I'm kidding, I don't, but I would be heart-broken if they merged or went under.

Well, in this moment I don't see a Nintendo "going down", in fact, in the finanzas are better than Sony.

But, in the hypotetical scenary that Nintendo goes to bankrup, they could do like Sega: makes games for other consoles. But again, that will not happen in a near future ... so don't worry

That is true. They started off very bad with the gamecube being third, but at the moment it is the second biggest selling console world wide. Behind the PS2, so no need to worry yet anyway

I doubt Nintendo's going down any time soon.

But if they do, they had better not let the other companies make Zelda games.

I HATE PLAY STATION, and I don't like microsoft's cofee table, If nintendo goes to hell, I'm going with them, I'll never play a zelda game in a sony console, perhaps in a PC, I don't know.

But I'm realistic, nintendo is never going down, as long as they keep the mario and the zelda's franchises, nintendo is immortal.

Have you played Playstation recently? I mean maybe during the last year and not when the first version of the PS1 was released.

Loading times are more or less the same as those on GameCube. I've played Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy and the loading times are really fast, just like the Gamecube games.

The PS2 is a robust machine that is capable of a lot, considering that it's already an old console they're still making high-quality games for it that push the envelope quite a bit. I will not participate in a "OMGG GC OWNSS PS!!" debate, but the two consoles don't differ that much. I honestly don't know which one is the best, technically, but they're practically the same in terms of how good they have served me - and I have pretty high expectations.

Now for XBOX.. that thing is a joke, it may be a super computer that is capable to calculate the mass of the universe or whatever but there are NO games for it. In every store I've been to they have like Halo and some Simpsons game for it - that's it. It looks horrible too. At least the PS2 and GC blend in and are discreet. The XBOX controller is huge too, nicht gut.

Anyway, Zelda'05 will probably beef up Nintendo's wallet a bit. I can honestly say that it seems that it's going really good for them, I see people with gameboys everywhere
