The Big Zelda Enemy Discussion
Okay, here's a new thread for you to chew on. Come here to discuss anything about the various freaks and misfits that populate the world. No, not the ZU newbies, the Zelda enemies. Talk about your favourites, least favourites, strategies for killing, interesting facts, funny stuff, whatever. I'll get started with a brief discussion about the 'Evil Dead'. (Movie? What movie?)
In 2D Zelda games, Gibdos turn into Stalfos when burned In 3D Zelda games, Redeads and Gibdos do not notice when they are on fire. However, they do quite a bit more damage when lit up. Wallmasters in OoT can be defeated easily by using Din's Fire as soon as the groaning starts. The Wallmaster in FSA cannot be killed. Floormasters in WW will chase you around the room with a burning stick at the slightest provocation. Okay, that's it from me. Knock yourselves out.

You can easily get two Moblins to fight each other in WW. Remember where you first found Tetra? Go there, but don't go down in the pit with the two Moblins *they show up at some point in the game; not sure exactly when.* It's been a while since I've done this, so I can't remember if you have to shoot one or not. Anyway, both will try to attack you and end up hurting each other. I once saw one of the Moblins give his buddy a huge uppercut *directed at him, not me.*

I know that in OOT when you play the sun's song on your ocarina, Gibdos, redeads and Stalfos's freeze, and when you're fighting Ganon, as in "real" Ganon you can play the Song of Time to briefly stun him. And that's pretty much all I know for battle secrets

Whoa, you can stun Ganon with the Song of Time? That's awesome, I have to remember to give that a try the next time I fight him...
This is kinda a no-brainer, but...If you're having trouble with Dead Hand (who appears in Bottom of the Well and Shadow Temple), let one of his hands grab you, and he'll pop out of the ground. Press buttons rapidly to get out of the hand's grasp, then wait the head to lower itself. A good idea would be to charge up your sword. When the head gets low enough, unleash your spin attack.

A good strategy for taking out the WW Stalfos next. Drop a bomb next to it, and slap it around with the Boomerang. BOOM! Stun the head and slice it up. Or, a more fun approach. Use only horizontal attacks, and eventually it gets sliced in half. Destroy the legs for a much easier fight.

On WW, get a Moblin to attack you and quickly move out of the way, do this near a ledge and he'll fall off. If he falls onto land he'll look around confused because he doesn't know where the hell you went. Also when it drops into sea its hilarious.
Also on WW control a seagul and fly into a wall, its not that funny. But first time i did it i laughed.

Well i'm sure the last time i took a venture in the shadow Temple on OoT, Gibdos and ReDeads don't see you when you walk very slowly or have the iron boots on, On MM when you shoot a Gibdo with a fire arrow it turns into a ReDead, and ReDeads dance when you wear the Gibdo mask, Captains hat, or Garo's mask i think...

Not all ReDeads. Only the ones in Ikana Castle dance when you wear the Gibdo Mask, the Garo Mask, or the Captin's Hat. That's because they were once members of the kingdom's dancing troupe...

Not really, but if you shoot a Gibdo with a Fire Arrow, it turns into a ReDead, right? And there are Gibdos at the Bottom of the Well and right in fornt of the Gibdo/researcher's house. And, if you wear any of the masks in the presence of these transformed ReDeads, they will not dance, but slowly come for you. (they won't attack, though...)

Yes very true, very true indeed ^_^
Oh not really a tip or anything, but if you use the Bremen's Mask when you fight again Agos Du Iknana's (The King's) guards, they'll stop and start dancing, i found that quite funny... EDIT~Oh yes...I really hate those stupid little floormasters, how dare they latch onto Link like that! :mad:
