what is the hardest ever zelda game?

well my personal oppinion is majoras mask it is well hard timing and everrything is well difficult

Yea, probably have to agree there. While mostly all Zelda games are challenging, that just shoves ya over the edge, lost my wits playing that sucker a few times. But the Ocarina of Time had its challenges too, like the Water Temple, guuuh.

I liked the water temple for the simple reason that i loved the boss. but i think LoZ2 because it was annoying with the battles in the open fieldthat drained you

I thought Majora's Mask was the hardest, not because I had to time myself due to the three day system. It was just because the puzzles are hard, the game may have a few amount of dungeons but they were hard.

I think I'm reasonable in thinking that everyone who voted for MM has never played the hard quest of Zelda 1. That game is impossible unless you
a) get a walkthrough off the internet, or
b) feel like spending about ten hours bombing every rock wall in the game to find the next dungeon.

Zelda 2 is truly the hardest game I have ever faced. Sure, some of the games have one or two dungeons that are difficult, but everything in this game was straight-out challenging. Shadow Link was so easy though.

I've barely even started the Oracles and they've been the hardess Zelda game I've ever played, but it was close between Link to the Past. I am very bad at the 2D games, I'm just not a 2D kinda girl I guess.

For me, that would easily be Zelda II: the Adventure of Link. Thunderbird is the hardest Zelda boss ever, and one of the hardest bosses ever, I think. It's one of the few games where my game over count is actually somewhat high (though that is, in part also because every time you save, it counts as a game over ) I allowed for Ganon to be resurrected quite a few times .

Zelda 2. Hands down. However, none of the Zelda games come close to being some of the hardest games I've ever played....infact most of them are quite easy.

I would have to say that Adventure of Link was the most challenging. I got stuck right after Death Mountain... kept dying in there.

The NES games are insanely difficult. Any tips for dealing with all those damn blue Wizrobes in the 6th dungeon of the first game? =S

AoL is definitly the hardest for me. I can't get past the first boss. Of the games I have beaten, probably LA because of that pillar puzzle in the Eagle's Tower.

Legend of Zelda: Link's Adventure. This is a prime example of why old games are better than new ones: THEY ARE CHALLENGING. And by challenging, I mean trying your hardest at video games. In Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, I got through them no problem.

ZeldaGC05! just kidding, but i hope it will be tough. I thought Majora's Mask was the hardest. I got stuck in the Great Bay Temple and in Upside down Stone tower Temple. Once during the upside down one I got so pissed that I dropped the game for at least a year, maybe two.

On my my question. What Zelda gave you the most trouble? Like in getting stuck, dying, frusration taking over, and then having to go to the store and buy a new controller because it's

A) No longer in one peice or

B) Was throw out the window, and is now lost.

For me it was Links adventure. Boy was that game hard. No other zelda game has given me such a hard time. Only zelda II, aka link adventure.

I'm still struggling on A Link to the Past. Can't figure out that forest. It's a long time since I've played it now though..

I seem to remember a thread like this before... Anyway, AoL is by far the hardest Zelda ever, or at least, to me. It's the only game where, no matter how hard I try, I get game overs. 'Nuff said. Though LoZ was pretty damn tough too.
