zelda glitch central

do any of you have any cool glitches about zelda that you want to share? well now you can, feel free to post any itresting glitches from any zelda game.

here is one of my favorite glitches...

INVINCIBLE DEKU STICK!!!

Ordinarily, the Deku Sticks break when you swing them at a wall, but with this glitch, you can hit walls without breaking the stick! The easiest place to try this out is inside the Deku Tree, so I'll explain the process there:

From the start of the Deku Tree, go down one floor to the place where you have pushed the block onto the shallow water. Get on top of that block and face away from the wall, and toward the platform across from it. Now get a stick out and prepare to jump to the platform across from it, but make your jump fall short of landing on the platform. Swing the Deku stick in midair so that it hits the platform, but make sure you land in the shallow water. If you time it right, the stick will appear to break, but wait, it's still there! You will end up losing one stick, but now you will be holding a stick that is less than half the length of what it used to be. You can swing this short stick at any wall as much as you want, but it won't break!

This trick can also be done if you haven't yet moved the block. Just stand near the place where the switch is and run full speed toward the place where the block is. Obviously you can't reach the platform yet, but if you swing the stick in mid-air, you will have a small, indestructible stick with this method as well.

You can try this glitch out in several locations. Another easy place to try it out is when you meet King Zora. Just jump toward him and swing the stick in midair.

One more thing: If you perform this glitch when you are down to your last stick, you won't be able to swing the short stick. Oddly enough, you can still do the jump-and-slash technique with Z and A. It's hard to say if this trick has much of any practical use yet, but who knows?

Glitche's from paulroe

To do this glitch you must be on epona and the fierce deity mask must be equipped to a C button. Go to either the Milk Road or Southern Swamp owl statue and z target it and press a while still on epona. Use the statues' save option. Then go back into the game after saving with the statue. About 1 time out of 10 you'll be on epona when you resume play. This has a better chance of working if your on Epona before you enter Milk Road or the Southern Swamp. After this, press the C-button with the fierce deity mask to transform. You should start to hear a beeping noise. Now you must wait until the 2nd day. DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING UNTIL THE 2ND DAY or else your game might freeze. When the second day comes the beeping noise should go away. Now hold Z and press A. You should fall into the ground and reappear as fierce deity. After this you can pause the game without it freezing.

I've got more glitche's-
Invisible Great Fairy's Sword
Get the Great Fairy's Sword (Get all 15 stray fairies in the Stone Tower Temple), and go to Clock Town. Try to put the sword in the postbox. You can't, but when you get it back, you'll have your hands together as if you had it, but you can't see it!

Plus-Call Epona and ride to Milk Road. Find the Owl Statue and assign the Zora Mask to a C-Button, then save while still on Epona. Start the game again and you should find yourself still on Epona. Press the C-Button you equiped the Zora Mask to. You should change into Zora Link and not able to fit on your horse. Press the analog stick forward to find that you can use Epona without having Link on her. You can do this on anyday. Also you can do this at Southern Swamp too. *Note: You will be stuck in Milk Road or Southern Swamp after you do this trick.

These glitche's were found at www.gamefaqs.com

Re: zelda glitch central

Go to Hyrule Castle during daytime, and walk up the chain (anyone of them). Wait for night, or play the sun's song, and once the bridge is going up, jump off the chain, towards the inside of the castle, and you will obtain a red rupee.

(Is this a glitch, or a secret, or just both?)

Re: zelda glitch central

Yea I've done that before! its pretty fun, thats how I get some good fast cash!... now I have to present a glitch

get annoying navi stuck!

First, Go to the Temple of Time and read the inscription on the pedistal with the three Spiritual Stones then do a backflip on to it. Stand in between the Goron's Ruby and Zora's Saphire facing the Kokiri Emerald. Play Saria's Song and after you've talked to her, the Temple will become really darker and Navi will be frozen. Hurray!

its kinda hard to do and if it dosent work please tell me!

Re: zelda glitch central

Fun with Gossip Stones in OoT/MM: Do any of the following to a Gossip Stone. It's funny.

1. Squish them with the Megaton Hammer.
2. Stretch them with Din's Fire.
3. Send them into orbit with a bomb.
4. Slash them during countdown from above, preferably while they're red or blue.

Bored Dark Link in OoT: If you can blind Dark Link with a Deku Nut while fighting him, then leg it to the opposite end of the arena at high speeds, he'll start doing Link's idle animations.

Easy way to kill Wallmasters in OoT/MM: As soon as the telltale shadow appears, use Din's Fire. The Wallmaster will hit the ground while the attack is charging, allowing you to disintegrate it immediately.

Easy way to kill Floormasters in OoT/MM: Shoot them with an arrow so they charge at you, then block and slash them. Use Din's Fire immediately to destroy all three annoying tiny clones.

Floormaster Fun in WW: In WW, Floormasters have a strange habit of doing any of the following.

1. Throwing skulls and pots at you.
2. Throwing Red Bubbles at you, while they're still burning.
3. Picking up swords and burning sticks to hit you with.
4. Throwing bombs back at you.

Re: zelda glitch central

Strong link!!! in WW

1) Get a bottle full of Forest water.

2) Go to anywhere where there is a large stone head you can pick up(with the Power Bracelets), eg: Outset island, Star island.

3) Pick up the head.

4) Wait until the Forest water expires, then get rid of the message.

You'll now be able to run around holding the stone head as though it were a smaller object.

Re: zelda glitch central

You people should know this one. In LA (not DX), you can do the warp thing by going to the edge of a screen, pressing select, and then pressing select again to be in the next screen. It's a good way to get past obstacles. Do this is in a cave and get yourself stuck in the walls. You can walk on the roof of the cave. It's kinda hard to explain, but this huge glitch happens where you have access to every cave in the game. This is a cool way to get to places you usually can't reach until later in the game. As I said, it's a bit hard to explain, but I guarantee that for those of you that have regular LA and haven't tried this, do it. It works.

Have you ever heard of the Death Mountain Descent glitch in ALttP?

As taken from Midnight Castle's Legend of Zelda Web Site because I'm horrible at trying to explain things in full detail:

The "Death Mountain Descent" is in fact a moderately complicated glitch. The overall purpose of it is to get into the Dark World without completeing the Tower of Hera, get the Master Sword, or even defeat Agahnim for the first time. You do not even need the Moon Pearl if you are that determined. This glitch also leads to many other corresponding glitches I would like to encourage people to send in for the Zelda Secrets and Oddities section. This glitch has two parts of it, the first is the actual "Death Mountain Descent" itself. The second is to change back into Link without getting the Moon Pearl. Both work on the GBA versions and the GBA holds a plus side - you can save and get back to your location. SNES players will have to repeat the Descent again and again. And, don't ask me if you can beat the game like this, I don't know, but if you do, answer our questions by sending in the results of your attempts.

In order to complete the transformation glitch, you will need the flippers and at least one fairy in a bottle. When you are ready, go to Death Mountain and get the Mirror from the old man and then jump into the portal for the first time. Once in the Dark World, jump down off the ledge and then off the ledge below that, and make your way to one screen transition to the right. In the Light World there would be a bridge here that you would need the Hook shot to get across. However, in the Dark World, there are only two statues where the bridge's posts would be.

Step 1 - Position Yourself
Position yourself in the corner below the upper post as shown in the picture. Make sure you are up against both the statue and the ledge. Face right as you will be doing throughout the rest of the glitch.

Step 2 - 1 Pixel Move
Use the mirror and warp to the Light World. Just BARELY hit the controller to go 1 pixel to the right. When Link stops blinking he will automatically warp back. DO NOT MOVE!! If you did this correctly you should be over just 1 pixel to the right a little more and you should not be automatically warped back by the game. If you are, go back to Step 1.

Step 3 - Backwards Step
Use the mirror and warp back into the Light World and head to the right until a post in the bridge prevents you from going further. Press your sword button and let it power up and continue holding it. VERY SLOWLY go back to the left (Link is still facing towards the right with his sword powered up) and step into the portal as slow as possible - 1 pixel taps.

Step 4 - On Top of the Ledge
If you stepped back slowly enough then when you warp back you should be standing on the ledge as shown in the picture and you should not be warped back into the Light World. If you are, guess what, go back to Step 1 and start all over again. While on the ledge DO NOT go left, down, or up.

Step 5 - The Black Space
Hit the controller to the right to jump off the ledge and into the black void that ultimately should be sky with lava streams below. I guess not. You can walk around anywhere around here. It's kinda kewl actually, but you ultimately should head downwards. Do NOT enter into another screen unless I tell you to.

Step 6 - The Land Masses
Going downwards you should locate two landmasses. Focus on the one to the left. Go around to the right side of it and go downwards as shown in the picture. Enter into the next screen.

Step 7 - Glitchy Dark World
Congratulations! If done correctly, you should now be on the cliff to the left of the waterfall. If you did it incorrectly, you will be stuck ON the waterfall, and then guess what - you have to restart your game and start from Step 1. But, if you're on top of that ledge, jump down onto land! As you can see by even my picture, the Dark World is glitchy. What did you expect after messing with this? Don't worry. Easily fixed by going into a cave and coming out, or even warping back and forth.

From here, you can explore the Dark World as much as you would like. However, it is in Bunny Link form. How do we get rid of that without having to go into the Tower of Hera and getting the Moon Pearl? That would be Part 2: Transformation and requires the use of the flippers and fairy I recommended you grab. Please note that there is no "permanent" solution to remain as Link and when you enter and leave a building of some sort you will come out as Bunny Link again.

Step 1 - Pond Skipping
So, where do you go? To the marshes, actually. You have to get there by going around through the Village of the Outcasts, but you can get there. Make your way to the north-west lake and start in the screen shown in the picture. Before you start, get your heart meter low to near death. Now, head into the deep part of the water. If you are careful, it glitches and you aren't dunked and thrown back out. The trick is, you can't just keep pressing the button, you have to do it in pixel steps.

Step 2 - Pond Skating
Head towards the left. Link should start blinking as you skip your way over. Enter the next screen. If it worked right, Link will not long "skip" and blink but he will start sliding as if he's on ice. If it goes wrong, he will just continue to blink and you will have to start over.

Step 3 - Fairy Transformation
Now, allow one of those bomber guys to kill you, if all went well. Your fairy, however, will not allow you to die, of course. In the death sequence you will become Link again and the fairy will revive you.

Step 4 - Successful Glitch!
If everything went right, guess what, when you are entered back into the scene where you died, you will not be turned back into Bunny Link but instead will remain in your true form! If you are turned back into Bunny Link, try try again.

Re: zelda glitch central

dude thats awesome i got to try it.

here is one of my glitches...
for ww

1) Get a bottle full of Forest water.

2) Go to Outset island and pick up the big pig.

3) Take him down to the walkway that bridges the gap between the two island and stand on any part of it that is made of wood.

4) Wait until your Forest water expires.

When it expires and while the message is onscreen the pig will slowly float away from you. As long as the message is there he'll keep getting further and further away, once you get rid of the message he returns.

Re: zelda glitch central

Interesting glitches, i'll try them later and see what i get. As for glitches, i only remember one for OOT, it also works for MM. They are as follows

Place a bomb next to any gossip stone. When it explodes wait a while and the stone should flash blue, then go red and launch itself into space. This also works in MM, but with an added bonus of the gossip stone exploding in the sky.

Talking Minish Cap Glitch

Strange wall in links house
Right to do this glitch you have to go to smiths room in links house. Then start tapping along the bottom wall with your sword until you here a bomb wall sound. After you hear it put a bomb down next to the wall that made the bomb wall sound letting it explode. Doing this will cause the wall stop making the strange sound walk out the room then walk back in the room to start up the glitch again.

Re: zelda glitch central

I dont understand that one could you be more, decisive?
well anyway here is one of my glitches...
for ww

1) Go to Dragon Roost Island.

2) In your boat go to the small beach on the east side of the island.

3) If you look at the beach from the water, on the right the sand comes out from the cliff at a shallow angle to a point, then goes back in on a similar angle. Position your boat as close to this point as you can get it, and facing towards the area of wall between the cave leading to the other side of the island and the rock with a hole under it.

Wait for Beedle's ship shop to come around the island and when it goes past your boat it will push it up closer to the sand than you can normally take it. If you now get into your boat you can sail it around on the sand

I also know another one that has something to do with gossip stones:

Put a bomb next to a gossip stone. Then, while it counts down, flashing blue and white, swing your sword at the right time, when the stone turns blue for that split second, and the stone will stay blue until you leave the area. You can crush it, hit it again, and it will still be blue.

Also, if you explode a bomb again next to the stone, it will flash bacwards (white, blue, white, blue, instead of blue, white, blue, white).

Re: zelda glitch central

You can turn any item into an empty bottle in OoT. Simply use a bottle to catch a fish, but before Link catches the fish, pause and assign the item you want to turn into a bottle to the button you used. Be warned that you won't be getting the item you choose back!

In MM, you can enter Sakon's hideout on the first day. Go up to the rock that blocks the entrance, and continually roll at the small crack on the right side. Eventually, You'll jump right through. This glitch isn't useful, but very fun. Also, you can get past the first room with out Kafei's help, by stepping on the switch and rolling through the door as a Goron.

Good stuff!

Re: zelda glitch central

This isn't a glitch; it's more like an Easter Egg, but...

In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, when you are fighting Ingos du Ikana's henchmen, put on and use the Breman's Mask. They will start to march around! (This is a good strategy to use if you want to get behind them; however, it won't work on Ingos du Ikana himself, so don't bother to try...) When you fight the King, put on the Captain's Hat for a very funny reaction!
