Lands of Hyrule

Could anybody offer any enlightenment about the other lands of Hyrule? Labryanna, Termina...anywhere else. Where are they in relation to Hyrule itself? This has always confused me a bit because from what I understand they're still part of Hyrule, but I can never find a map that has them all on it together. If anyone has a map that would be AWESOME, but mostly I'm just wondering why everything is outside of Hyrule and Lon Lon Ranch and all that jazz. Oooh, what is the name of the desert where the Gerudos live? Sorry, any help would be appreciated.

Termina is in an alternate dimension. As for the other lands, noone knows where they are in relation to each other other than that their in the same world.

Termina is not in a alternate dimension. It is a parallel would. And Link went though the lost woods to get there. Also Koholint Island is out to sea.

It can be a parallel world in another dimension, can't it? And Link doesn't just walk through the lost woods to get there, he went through some strange turning corridor to get into Termina (which could explain how he gets in the other dimension).

See that's what I was always under the impression of. I also don't know what Koholint island really is. You see I'm working on a fanfic of rather large proportions, so I'm trying to sort these things out for my own clarifications should I choose to use them.

Re: Lands of Hyrule

Koholint Island is the island in Link's Awakening.

This isn't really canon, but according to the Zelda comics the land of Calatia is to the West of Hyrule. This is the land Link from LoZ and AoL came from, according to them, and is ruled by Queen Seline.

Also Koholint Island is out to sea.

Castaway, you should now the truth...

Nope, Koholint isn't real. So it can't be anywhere.

Re: Lands of Hyrule

Termina and all of the otehr maps and stuff are apart from hyrule. Look at Termina it is just an alternate dimension and all of the other places in the LoZ series that is not relevant to Hyrule just the area. They are just different places they don't have to have a relevantcy to just Hyrule.

Re: Lands of Hyrule

The Kingdom of Hyrule, I believe, is just a land itself, consisting of just Hyrule, no other lands. According to Zelda Legends and a few other places, there is a northern Hyrule, which Adventure of Link takles place in, and a southern Hyrule that all the other games take place in. There are other lands outside of it. They are Termina, Holodrum, and Labrynna. There is also Subrosia, and Koholint Island seemingly exists only in dreams. Calatia is the land that LoZ/AoL Link is from.

Re: Lands of Hyrule

Calatia is not in any way shape or form part of the Zelda world other than in a few fanfics which also used some other lands that they pulled from their ass.

I meant alternate dimension as an alternate plane of existance. Meaning that it basicly a remix of the reality we know. I used the word alternate, meaning a different version of the one we know. So alternate dimension pretty much means the same thing as parallel world.

Re: Lands of Hyrule

I never stated that Calatia is part of Zelda. I use it mainly because I've heard others use it.

Hyrule is Hyrule. Labryanna, and Termina are not part of Hyrule. They are different parts of Earth.

True, but some people just refuse to look on the information from the cartoons and comics as official.

Re: Lands of Hyrule

Well they do sort of stuff around with the story to the point that it becomes stupid. As for locations, you're never gonna find out, but I can tell you this: Koholint, while it is a dream island (there is absolutely no doubt about this, k?), existed somewhere off the east coast of Hyrule, I think.
