Transportation?Epona Or Hyrule's King?

Am I the only one annoyed by Link's boat in The Wind Waker???? I mean I hated how he was always pushing link telling him to hurry up and stuff like that. He really irritated me, sometimes I missed Epona so much. Am I the only one who things like this?

Um well I never really noticed him saying to hurry up.

I hated sailing, too. It took FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved using Epona. You could actually get somewhere quickly. I WANT EPONA BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I know cheap.

Of course you aren't the only person who thinks like that. Many people didn't like sailing, and many people just didn't like the King of Red Lions. Personally, I didn't hate Epona, but I didn't like her either. No emotional connection there, I must say. The King of Red Lions had a personality, obviously, but I didn't like it very much. And what he does at the end was infuriating. Really. But I won't say any more on that.

I'm happy to know I'm not the only one who thinks like this, and I'm also working on another much longer thread about this subject and more. Thank You for sharing your opinions.

P.S I love Epona too I want her BACKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!

Why don't you just use this one?

I think Navi is more annoying in telling you to hurry up than the KoRL.

I liked riding through Hyrule on Epona's back, but I think she was also annoying: sometimes she doesn't come when you play Epona's song.

And now my answer to the topic question: I prefer Epona for transportation and I'm glad she'll be back in LoZ GC.

I didn't think King of Red Lions was annoying (Epona actually annoyed me more). He was a cool character.
Although sailing got boring after a while, it really made the gameplay feel more sophisticated.

Epona was awesome, the king of red lions just seriously annoyed me. It was boring, all you did was sail for ages and ages. With Epona you could control her more and explore. I liked the carrot idea aswell.

The boat was okay. but i pefer epona.

If Epona had been able to travel the same area as the KoRL,then it would be superb.Maybe in the next Zelda you can ride Epona over an area as big as the great sea.That would be brilliant.

Hmm, I say bring back Link's ORIGINAL horse, or give him a unicorn. :razz:

I didn't find KoRL annoying, navi was and sailing for me wasn't to bad.....

i didnt think he was annoying but i hated how it took forever to get somewhere. i prefer epona myself

The boat sucked, There's nothing like Epona, The king was anoying sometimes, and he was Damn slow, plues he was always in the same place HOW BORING, it was not his fault anyway, but he was like a bad fusion of epona and navi/tatl

Epona was the best but i still like the KoRL. They were both good though

well i liked king of red lions bc he is the old king of hyrule hello people have some respect for your elders really now. but i hated sailing exspecially for the triforce shards that took forever thank god for the (gales of wind) phyclones sp*. i love epona bc i love horses and for some odd reason i cannont play oot without getting her everytime or ill feel guilty besides i cant leave her with ingo now can i that just be mean. but i did think it was annoying how she wouldnt come to you sometimes or wouldnt jump sometimes.

it takes too long sailing but navi always bug u inoot and tatl in mm so u cant win u always have someone bugging u at least its not all the time in ww
