Anyone ever play that really rare Zelda for the CDi?

Was it any good? What was it like?

Played them. Own them. Very bad games, stay away... Seriously, I wouldn't bother trying to get ahold of them, it really isn't worth it. oO

er..this may sound a bit stupid but, what is CDi?

CD-i was a disc drive system that Nintendo licensed to create Zelda games for their system. CD-i bombed and the Zelda games aren't widely known except to some Zelda fans who have followed the series everywhere. The games are also known to be horrendous.

Well their supposed to be really bad but I still want to try them... see why its bad and check it all out, I mean you never know who may like them.

There not even made by Nintendo.

Yeah, they were made by Nintendo -- Personally I have only played them on Emulators (a CD-i console is near impossible to get a hold of here), but I wouldn't reccomend them to anyone, seriously. Phillips screwed up royally on these game!

Hey guys I thought we weere zelda fans here. Any zelda fan should know that those games were Pretty Bad, BUt we should Still respect them I own them And what i did was Use them to Decorate My room.

I'm a fan of good Zelda games only I think many of us here would "respect" the games, if they put more than a 5 minute effort on them.

Anyway, as you can see, I'm not too keen on playing the games. Although I may take up on Anakin's idea and grab a CD-i emulator.

Anyone got any screen shots of them? not the cdi the game it self.

Uhm, I don't have any on my computer, but I do remember that IGN did some big article on them once, and they had some screenies of it. And they sucked. Bad. But, you could search around and find it.

I've never played them, but I've heard that Zelda's Adventure is better than the other two. Still, they both suck.

I actually have an old copy of EGM that has an article on "The 20 Worst Games Ever". The Zelda CDIs are in a three way tie for second place. I've never played them though. Surely a Zelda cant be that bad, can it?

I heard of them but I have never played them seen a picture of them or seen a CD-i thingy.

I've seen pictures at Ganon's Tower before. In what looks to be cutscenes Link looks like an annoying prick with ridiculous sideburns and Zelda has a dude's chest. In gameplay shots I can't imagine how the game is actually played. Then again, I thought that about AOL 'till I saw it in action for about five seconds less than a year ago.

Ive seen pictures of the games in Club Nintendo Magazine and they look like crap!!

Does anyone of you happedn to have a screenshot? Would be intersting too see how it looked.

You'll find some pics there about one of them...go to the bar on the right to find the other two. You can see what an annoying prick Link looked like, but I couldn't find the screen of Zelda, who really does have a dude's chest.
What is up with that? That's all I can say.
