A Mystery Solved

In The Minish Cap, the Minish who work at the barrel greenhouse in the Minish villiage explain that they like to leave nice things for humans in hidden places all over Hyrule. Now we know who put all those Rupees and hearts and whatnot into the grass and pots everywhere; it was the Minish who did it!

Re: A Mystery Solved

Did they preform surgery on the beasts and put the stuff in them to? Wow that would be a cool job:

"Hey Jimmy, lets cut this one open and put some arrows in him!"
"Yeah James! And then we can put some magic in this one over here!"

Wow.. interesting idea..

Re: A Mystery Solved

I just assumed that the health and items you get from fallen enemies was stuff they were carrying with them for whatever reason, like their Knight's Crests or Skull Necklaces.

Re: A Mystery Solved

Yeah, the enemies are just carrying the items in their... uhh, pockets, or something. They seem to appear out of nowhere because if they didn't, Link would have to search their pockets. And stealing items from a creature you've just murdered wouldn't look nice.

Do you think? Of coarse the animals are carrying the dropped items. Any expierienced Zelda fan would know that. So why are you trying to make fun of a newbie like me? Or is it that you don't play zelda games?

Re: A Mystery Solved

Does this really need in explanation anyway?

Enemies in some video games drop items. Ther never needs to be a reason for it.

Re: A Mystery Solved

But it's nice to have a reason. Makes the game world a lot more realistic if a few things are explained, even though it isn't really necessary.

Re: A Mystery Solved

Quite right.

As for where they're keeping the items, hey, if Link can carry all his gear around with him with only his sword and shield appearing on the model, I'm sure that the monsters can too (always bugged me, this. Why would the iron boots only weigh Link down when they were on his feet? They're no less heavy in a satchel or whatever).

Well, SOMETIMES, when you are obsessed with a game, you wonder about the minor details. You know, sweat the small stuff.

Re: A Mystery Solved

There doesn't have to be an explanation as to why there are rupees and stuff underneath pots and grass, there just is, it's a Zelda game. But it was kinda cool and funny how they mentioned that in TMC.
