Feelings of Zelda Games

ok well does anyone have that feeling when they play a zelda game, and it doesnt appeal to them, but then you start to get into it

for example, me and AoL

ive played AoL before and i thought it s**cked, but now im playing AoL and i think it is a mucho cool game, i mean it has exp, magic spells, wicked cool stuff that isnt in other zelda games, its wicked cool how can raise levels like attack through exp. like most RPG's

anyone ever have soemthing like this where they play a zelda game and they dont like it but then they start playing it and they like it

post your....thoughts here....

Re: Feelings of Zelda Games

First forum eh? Well hope you have a good time here.

Anyways at first I thought MM was alittle to complicated, but now since I started playing it more I happen to like it...more. Same with OoT except in the beginning I was alittle more fond of it.

Re: Feelings of Zelda Games

It was like with me and ALTTP, I didn't like it that much at first but after a while I got used to it and I started loving it, it is now my favourite game in the Zelda series...with OOT very close second.

Re: Feelings of Zelda Games

I didn't like AoL that much in the beginning.. mostly because of the difficulty level. I was only 7. But since I just had too much time on my hands and want to beat it so bad.. I grabbed that ugly NES controller and beat the game.

Re: Feelings of Zelda Games

Well, each game has there own feel. I will use MM OoT and WW as examples.

OoT- It was more origianal, it gave that feeling that it had a huge history behind it that you will never be able to comprehend. And with sooo many characters, you really could get an indepth story out of it.

MM- This was my fav. (as far as the mood/genre of the game is)Link was young now and had just been through alot-you can sense it in the beginging of the game. This game I really cant discribe the feel to, it was almost dark or something. And that is why I LOVED it. It was so mysterious.

WW-This game would tell its emotions just from the colors and the music its self. People say that it was kiddy-but that is not true at all in my opinion. I was actually a very realistic game-just in a different way.

But everybody has there own feelings when they play Zelda-and those can't ever be discribed. The only way I can say it is it sorta feels like you just finished a REALLY good book. But that is just me, and there is sooo much more to Zelda than anybody will ever know, because every body interprets it differently.

Re: Feelings of Zelda Games

Well, I'm having a hard time geting into MM and the NES games, but I'm sure once I get into them they'll be fine. I think if I just spent enough time playing MM I could get through a temple.

Re: Feelings of Zelda Games

Nope, never had anything like that.

Although with LoZ's second quest I'm a bit frustrated, but I can't say that I don't have that "Zelda feeling" because I've never had that Zelda feeling. They're all just another game to me.
