Zelda's family

i was wondering if zelda has any siblings??

In AoL Zelda had a brother (the first and only Prince of Hyrule ever to be mentioned in a game). In ALttP Zelda had seven sisters (aka: maidens...at least I saw them as her sisters). In FSA we see the maidens return yet again. Those are all the sibling that I can think of. The maidens aren't 100% certain, but the Prince of Hyrule in AoL is.

Well I knew about the maidens, but I cant think really of any others. She may have relations with Impa-or other Seikians.

The maidens are just sages that guard the seal to the different worlds, nothing more. yes tetra is related to Zelda b/c in WW she transforms into her. i think its her great great great................granddaughter or something like that.

tetra is zelda, reincarnated because one is born every 100 years and this was before the prince in AoL claimed that all girls born in the palace must be named zelda. anyway, there is also king no-the king of red lions from the windwaker. King, princess, king, princess, yeah i think there related

Tetra IS Zelda but is reveled until the game advance. In the other games, never tell about her family,only some of themr the king, or her brother, or her mother ... mabe the other ones died or something . I hope in the next one more info about her relatives

I hope that theory about Link being Zelda's brother has been proven false. That's seriously not right. Zelda has no sisters or brothers (besides the Prince of Hyrule) and it will hopefully stay that way. I can't picture her with a brother or sister (unless a younger sibling), y'know? She is kinda cute... :embrsd:

Link & Zelda brothers?!! O.o?! ... well, even I thinked something like that the first time I played OoT, but, after thinking well about that matter, have no any sense, they could be lovers or, in the worst case, just close friends.

Why not? If Link appeared with a sister, why no Princess Zelda with other brothers and sisters? That would be nice, and add something more to the story, in fact I'd like to see her with an younger (or older) brother, I don't now ... maybe a brother so anxious to be ruler of Hyrule and have a Ganondorf (or the bad guy of turn) as ally, who knows.

I hope they're not siblings, that would ruin a lot of fun between them!!! Besides the prince, I don't recall any siblings. As for Tetra, come on here. She turns into Zelda. How could she possibly be a relative! They are the same thing!!!!! So, I don't think the maidens are related to Zelda either.

The Deku Tree said (in the opening scene to OoT) that Link's destiny is to lead Hyrule to a path of justice and truth, something which only a ruler can do. That would either mean that he's her brother and becomes King because normally in such societies the boys always came before the girls, or he marries her and becomes King.

The first thought, however, is unlikely because it's a SW rip-off (and Nintendo likes to be original) and no one mentions anything in the game. And the manga hints that they're lover-birds. :razz:

At first, I thought Link and Zelda were siblings, but gave up on it soon enough.
