Re: sheik on ssb melee

SSBM was made by Nintendo. So was Zelda. Therefore, Nintendo can have Sheik do whatever they want.

Re: sheik on ssb melee

Thats like questioning Links moves on OoT, how do they know how Link fights? Hes not a real person! Neither is Sheik. They create moves for the character so they can adapt to the game. Theres really no other explanation. Nintendo can do with their characters what they want.

shieks moves are very appropriate for her, she seems to be stealth and covert so thats why she has those moves on melee

I agree. They made Sheik's moves very stealthy and ninja-like. When she teleports, she throws a small smoke bomb to the ground; when she throws the needles, it's like throwing multiple ninja stars; and when she uses that chain thingy....well I sorta can't explain that (a broken hookshot? I'm just joking), but well assured, they are all "Ninja-like" to fit her persona.

Re: sheik on ssb melee

no character moved better, and more loyally to the personality of the character, than sheik and zelda in my opinion, especially sheik. they obviously invented moves, but they were so damn cool. capatain falcon has never been on foot in any game, so how do they make moves for him??? its not important. i think sheikah warriors would be a cool thing to see in Z'05, solely because sheik moved so smoothly and fluidly in SSBM.

I think Sheik has a very appropriate fighting style. She looks like a ninja, disappears like a ninja, and fights like a ninja. Cool, no?

Thats a nice point, though i still think they should of split up Zelda and Sheik, though they are the same person its two total differenet type of characters in the game.

I agree. Nintendo made it so that Link is the only young [human] male fighter in all of the games (with a few exceptions, but not anything major), and he sort of runs a monopoly as far as popularity with the ladies goes. I think it'd be great if Nintendo introduced Sheik as his own character with his own history and his own mind. He's too cool of a character to be just an alias! Why should Zelda get to hog all the glory, eh?

Not just a personallity change, but a sex change as well...
But if you learn how to use her well, she can really be untouchable in SSBM. All of her moves are just so fast.

Re: sheik on ssb melee

Well, I think Shiek's a girl, and since it's like, Zelda's more tomboy-ish side, it seems like two different people, no?
I think that her moves fit her perfectly. I love playing as Shiek, but I'm more used to fighting with Zelda in her princess form.
