Strange things in Zelda...

If anyone's noticed anything remarkably bizzare about the Zelda series, post it here. For example, Jabu Jabu in OoT. Did anyone notice that he doesn't have any internal organs? No heart, no lungs, no liver, nothing! Instead, some switches, treasure chests and the occasional cow! Weird, or what?

In ALttP. When you leave your house in the beginning, and then enter again. Some sort of secret bed maker has been there

Re: Strange things in Zelda...

I have always found it strange in every game that people will willingly let you enter their house, smash pots, steal rupees hidden there and not only this, but when you re-enter, without them having left the house, they have replaced everything.

Many other things.

Yeah. And also, where does he keep that Biggoron Sword? It's bigger than him, and he just pulls it out of thin air!

I just realised that. He never eats or sleeps. At all. Ever. Why doesn't he die from hunger and exhaustion?

That is true but not to mention that Link also has to carry around oodles amounts of items and weapons-but just some how magically pulls it out from is back.
Also I am not saying that leftys are weird or anything of the sort...but I noticed that Link is a left hander and I wonderd why they did that. Or maybe I am just dumb and you are supposed to hold your sword in your left hand, I know nothing about sword fighting. But I always thought taht you would hold your sword in the hand you write with. I just found that interesting that Link is lefty.

Re: Strange things in Zelda...

Apparently, you hold the sword in the left hand, so you can use the shield as a battering weapon as well as a *ahem* shield. I read thad somewhere.

Tingle from The Wind Waker. You find him in prison, probably on account of child-molestation charges, He's got slaves that work on his island for no reason at all, and don't forget he's a middle-aged little person who wishes he was a fairy. He's also an extortionist, charging outragous prices for his services you need later in the quest.

He's bad news.

Why do you want your first experience with TP to be a mirrored one?
The GC version is superior overall - admit it.

I fell out of my seat when I read this. Tingle is quite strange.

I think the whole Link not talking but people understanding him and talking to him thing was always weird.

And those darn Hylian guards. You can stand right in back of them and light a bomb and they don't even notice!

Well now he would be like 70 or something because he was 35 in MM. And doesn't WW come like 40 years after MM.
