Exclamation Not your ordinary timeline theory

OK. i have seen many of you start your own threads about your own timelien theory and would like to state mine. but liek the title suggests, i will set mine out differently. by this i mean i won't be considering petty things like slightly different sheild design sway how my timeline pans out. there are a LOT of inconstencies in each and every zelda game (like how hyrule is always landscaped differently, or why kakariko doesnt exist in tMC).

1. tMC. introduces link into the world. he is zelda's friend in this, and it begins their eternal bond. introduces vaati, and the four sword. vaati is sealed away, an the four sword lay to rest.

2. OoT. introduces new link, the hero of time. introduces Ganon, and again the bond between link and zelda. keep the names of that sages in mind. and another thing, this is link's first impression on ganon, so from here on in, ganon know link as the hero of time

3. FSA. Vaati returns, and the new link must stop him. and we all know how it ends, and i wont spoil it, but snuh (you know what i mean).

4. LttP. New link again. ganon, trapped in the sacred realm, uses agahnim to try and come back. this is where I take some liberties and say ganon survives the end battle, severely weakened enough so that the seal can be put back, and thats how it ends. the imprisoning war spoken of in the prologue is the seven years link is asleep for in OoT, with the "seven wise ones" (sages) who made the seal and that

5. AoL. same link as before, he tries to rebuild the hyrulian society in the wake of ganons failure and chaos. one of ganons followers does the sleep thing to zelda, and there we go. oh, because of how long it has been, the legend of the hero of time has been cherished and believed so much that the towns are named after the sages.

6. MM. after zelda wakes, link is tired of the danger, and leaves for a peaceful life. the story of majora's mask begins, and i will leave it up to you to find out where link met the skull kid. i say it is the boy in LttP with the flute.

7. LA. new link. by now, the people have caught on about link and his connection to danger, which ic the cause for their uproar and the reason for link's voyage. link gets shipwrecked, and is trapped in the dream of the windfish.

8. OoS&A. link returns from his voyage, and TECHNICALLY, nothing happened. he is then sucked into a vortex and sent to both holodrum, then labrynna, and faces the enemies there, and saves the oracles, coincidentally named after the golden goddesses. we all know the ending if you have played a continuation from both, so you will know what happens, who appears and what have you. i'm not sure if the ending is public knowledge yet.

9. LoZ. ganon returns, and is sooo ticked off, he begins an all out war, almost killing every person in hyrule (except for a few hiding in caves) has troops patrolling everywhere, pretty much destroying hyrule. in the chaos, a new boy named link struggles and saves the world again. he gathers the peices of the triforce, and saves zelda and that stuff. it is not actually the hero of time, but that is who ganon thinks it is. hey if you are sealed away for that long, you will miss a few things.

10. tWW.
the story in the prologue about being the hero of time being the one to trap ganon refers to the war in LoZ where all hell broke loose, and by the time link saved it, it was too late, the king had already began the flood. the people where hoping for the hero in OoT, the hero of legend (it is now, about 500 years ago) and they get a little newbie kid. so ganon is free, and we all know how it ends.

tWW came last, as a world changing flood constructed by the creators of the world will not dry up.

so that is my theory. i am willing to except rebuttle and inconsistencies if peopel wish to voice them, but stick to evidence from the games script and the instruction manual's story, not the fact that link has different hair or the hookshot looks different.

Re: Not your ordinary timeline theory

Ok, yeah...well... that's interesting. Yet another person seems to forget that FS is in fact a game. Awesome.Im pretty sure that Link in MM is the Hero of Time. Therefore all sorts of chaos is already caused in your timeline for that. Ok and link met the skull kid in OoT.
And TWW, thats an original idea but i dont think it can be right because of the king. the king could not have lived that long, even in boat form

but i like that you present some unique ideas here and dont just go by the standard.

also, i kind of agree that AoL probably isnt the last one in the timeline. However, i dont think it is the same link as in AlttP because when AlttP was released it was called a prequel to the series.

Plus, you have ganon in ganondorf form at the beginning and end of the timeline. i believe that his original form is ganondorf and eventually he goes completely evil (like when the memories of the gerudo leave him) and turns into his evil form. I think it will eventually be the final battle with ganon and after link defeats him he will turn back into Ganondorf and finally just be dead. But thats more of a prediction and for another place and time so i wont go into detail about that now.

Re: Not your ordinary timeline theory

Well that sure is an interesting way to look at things. It sort of all runs together in that way when you think about it, but I still prefer the way that ZU describes it. Maybe that is just me. Anyways your way does sound quite interesting.

Re: Not your ordinary timeline theory

That is the best timeline i have read to date. Kudos. There are holes, but as with any timeline theory there is going to be a few. Good job

Re: Not your ordinary timeline theory

i am sure he does meet the skull kid in OoT, but it is adifferent link, and i am sure there are things not explained. as far as the king living that long, the king from LoZ by my timeline is the one in tWW. it is unfeasable to think the king could surive anyway.

the link from MM could be the hero time, he could be a NEW hero of time, it doesnt necessarily need to be the same one.

FS i know is a gmae, i forgot about that. i consider that though to be just a little add-on bonus. that could go in anywhere after LttP. it ties up nicely at both ends.
