Gannon and Majora?

This is something i've always wondered,
What if gannon decided to where majoras mask.(Assuming the mask didnt lose its power along with its evil at the end of MM) Does any one think this would make a good basis for a future Zelda game. Do you think gannon would control majora or vice versa?

Seeing as how I didn't like Majora's Mask, no.

I really don't want another game based on masks. Although, it would be interesting to see what powers Ganondorf would have with it on. Heck, maybe he'd teach the world how to spell his name.

This thread is kinda dumb.....I don't think that ganon would put on Majora's Mask considering that Terminia is a lost world that Link somehow got into. There is no possible way that ganon would ever wear that mask. We don't even know which culture created the mask. For all we know, ganon dosn't even know that Terminia exists.

It isn't a very good premise for a game. The two are fully seperate ideas; an evil mask that is out to destroy the world is fine on its own, just as an evil beast that is out to conquer the world is perfect when against humanity and not against the mask. It makes little sense to have a mask and a beast competing for the role as a leader.

Plus, this thread already exists (somewhat) in the N64 section. They are too similar.

Sure it wouldnt make a good game, but the concept is interesting. The King of evil, wearing the wooden embodiement of pure evil. IF that happened, Ganon could quite possibly become a living god, interesting thought

I have a few thoughts on Majora's Mask and the whole parallel thing, I geuss this is as good a place as any...

If the world was paralell this would mean there is a parallel Link and Zelda. When Link entered Termina the parallel Link would have entered Hyrule or stayed at Termina. Now if two parallels touch then they basically disentagrate(well thats what I've heard), so either parallel Link stayed in Termina and wasn't shown or he actually did venture to Hyrule. Now, if the world was truly parallel would this mean that the Parallel Link was Evil? Who is Majora's Masks parallel? Is adult Link, Oni-Link's parallel? I have a theory where parallel Link is evil and this parallel is wreaking havok while Link is in Termina. Oni-Link is evil, Adult Link is Good. Also in Super Smash Bros. Melee in the event discription where you fight Dark Link it says "everyone has a dark-side, Link has two" so perhaps this refers to the dark-side of Termina.

If in Termina, Link would have parents and be rich, while Zelda would be a poor commener. If all this is true, Link did not return to Hyrule because he had a happier life in Termina, and since he wasn't in Hyrule, Ganon and the Parallel Link perhaps worked as a joint team. As far as we know Ganon is the greatest evil in Hyrule and Majora's Mask is the greates evil in Termina. This messes up my theoy of evil's parallel being good. I have a bit more to say on the subject but don't have time right now so I will expand on it later.

Hmmm i cant say if i would like the game.... but man that would be one helluva boss huh?!?!?! its an interesting concept though. I just dont like... masks... *hides*

it wouldnt make the game very different from the others, just Ganondorf is more powerful than usual. which would mean, for example, a harder OoT.

majora was owned by the mask owner before he came into termina.

To Rito066, As FlashFire said the mask was in the possesion of the salesman before he entered Termina. The only reason he was in termina was because he followed link in hopes that he might be able to get the mask from skullkid.

Not necessarily, because parallel and opposite are two different things. If memory serves me right, "parallel" means "something very similar to something else, or a similarity between two things". OK, I looked that up in a dictionary. Anyway, for an example, is Romani the evil version of Malon? I don't think so. The only difference between those two is that Romani has a bow and doesn't sing.

It just means that Dark Link has two lives, so you have to beat him twice. And besides, since when has SSBM been a totally reliable source?

Well, I don't think even Nintendo has thought of Link's parallel version, so it's impossible to tell what he's like, or even if he exists.

im not sure if i likie that parallel idea, it is interesting though, and if ganon wore the, mask id be pretty scared, ganondorf would be one freakishly big powerfull guy

o wait, i was just thinking of the fierce diety mask!, wow what would ganon be like if he wore that? with all the neat face paint and stuff, maybe a new look?

I think it would just make Ganon more powerful, if he were to wear Majora's Mask. And the SSBM thing was, as Gezmok already said, referring to the fact that Dark Link has 2 lives in the Event Match.

Well, many has put on a lot of theories ... but I have another (wacky?) one:

What if, the one who really wants to obtain the evil power of the mask was Ganondorf himself??!! We know that the Guy fm the Happy Mask was the one who find the Mask, but ... if Ganondorf want to use that item and "passed" the info to the Happy Mask's Guy to find out by him(you know ... someone has to do the dirty job), but in the process something got bad, and the mask falls in other hands (the Skullkid) with the consecuens we know - the MM game story ...

Maybe is a crazy thing but ... it would be.

interesting theory zeldawp, but there is likely no chance that the game designers would even tell that little tidbit of the story whether that be the case or not. but its a good theory.

Ganon with Majora's Mask on, eh? I'm not sure...

Uhh.... I think it would be cool as mabe a mini quest thing but not as a full game that would stink.
