Do you think Zelda games are getting better or worse or have they always been good

What are your opinons. I personally think zelda games have always been good. the wind waker i think might not be as good as oot or mm but i think it is a hell of a lot better than most games out on the next gen consoles

I also think that zelda games are always great

i think they are getting worse there is no real challenge to many of them now a days. The old ones for the nes and master quest seemed harder even to the windwaker that was no mere challenge. They need to make zelda more harder and more challenging with more puzzles and more bosses. I know they can do it. They dont want to waste their money putting it into two disks. I think that would be cool having a game into several disks.

Look at Wind Waker- Too short, dungeon set up is completely non-zelda (cmon, finding jabun should not yield the same reward as a dungeon). Acutally, those are my only real complaints... besides that the hookshot is nearly useless.
I just dont like how much the zelda series is diverging from the original formula. FS did this and was meh at best. WW was certainly better than meh, and most gc games for that matter, but it was no LA or OoT.

I'd say they're getting better. Sure, WW was easy, but I enjoyed it. I havnt played FS... Minish Cap have a good story and a good gameplay. None of those really lives up to ooT but If you compare to the games before that

The've always been good, and they're getting better. The WW was a fine game, and from what Zelda GC is looking like, the game will only get better.

The games are getting worse, in general the games are good but they don't compare to the older ones. I think they started messing up when they brought the oracles. The games are good but still....they could have been much better.

I have a hard time comparing all the games. I mean, now the zelda games span 5 consoles... and they are all different with thier own storylines. I have to say that they've always been good, and still are. Well, maybe with the exception to FSA. I really dont care for that one...

"Just like wine, it gets better as time goes by"--That's what I have to say about the games. Every game just keeps on getting better and better. However, people do have their own opinion on what game is the best (sometimes it isn't the most recent game that's the best, but one that was made in the past).

Sure, tWW was god's gift to the gaming world, but it was still fun. I think proof that zelda games are getting better is TMC, its a very straightforward, classic zelda title, its its a helluvalotta fun too.

Anyone who says they are bettr is naive (sp?). nintendo games in general arent as good as the older ones. they are rushed and just dont have that indefinable spark. i have completely finished super mario 64 10 times, and cant wait for the DS version. i havent even been bothered the same with sunshine. same goes for windwaker. i dont like replaying that over and over as much as OoT. the wind temple, collecting triforce charts, destroying all pirate platforms, its all too much to be bothered with again. real deterrent. MM was a bit the same. every time i reached great bay temple i gave up. too annoying.

i liked that temple. i dont see how people find it hard plus the boss to me was easy

The Zelda games are fine as is. I'm happy with them and am always looking foreward to the next console version. The Gameboy games are definatly dissappointing me mostly because a new game hasn't been released by Nintendo in awile. Just Capcom.

Other than that they are fine by me.

tWW was better than MM, but nothings better than ALttP.

At the moment for me, OoT is the peak of all the Zelda games.. I don't think any have topped that peak yet!

Zelda has always been a good game, in my opinion there has never been a bad zelda game (except for those that were for another game system) Each game has its own special appeal and even if there are some zelda games that are better than others each one is a great game in there own way. So I would have to say that the Zelda series has always been good.
