Is it wrong?

Is it wrong that I do not enjoy playing the original two zelda games or the oracle games and even links awakening? I just dont like the way they play. Does that hinder me from being a true zelda fan. I mean the story is is good I mean the first two dont interest me because they have no in game story or at least not a big one. And the gameplay of the 2d zelda games is just something i dont like in most of them I mean i like minish cap and four swords adventures the original four swords and a link to the past. Anybody got the same opinion on some of those games?

I really don't agree with you. But that doesn't mean you aren't a Zelda fan. You don't have to love or even like some of the titles. I don't like all of them, I certainly don't love all of them. I still consider myself a fan though simply because I like Zelda and I like talking to other Zelda fans about Zelda.

Is it wrong to have a personal preference? Most definitely.

Having a personal preference is by no means a bad thing. There are many, many Zelda fans who don't like all the games, but that doesn't mean they aren't Zelda fans. You don't have to like everything about something in order to be considered a fan.

For example, if I like Justin Bieber's My World, but not My World 2.0, that doesn't mean I'm not a Bieber fan. It just means I like some of the songs by that artist, and not others. I'm still a fan of something he's produced.

Nothing wrong with having a personal preference regarding specific Zelda games. Heck, I think MM was the worst Zelda game ever made, but that doesn't make me any less of a Zelda fan.

Im a Huuuge fan of the pixies!!!!!! But there are a few songs I don't really like! But i still consider myself a fan!!

So to answer your questions!! No! you do not need to like EVERY zelda title in order to be a fan!!!!

I very much dislike the original Legend of Zelda, Link's Awakening, and the Oracle duo of games.

Zelda II, however, is a different matter entirely. I love that game. An analogy would be a great friend you have who you keep coming back to for more whether it be fun, advice, or just chillin'.

It's normal to dislike certain videogames. You are establishing your tastes as a gamer. It's clear that 3D games are more your cup of tea.

i agree with you, the first two games are EXTREMELY difficult and puzzling, so no, it isn't wrong for i believe the same thing

Are you for real? There's nothing wrong with disliking something. It's only a game, good lord. I agree with you though, Zelda I and II suck ass. I like the Oracles, though.
