It's a Secret to Everyone

As we all know, the thread title of this thread is said by those friendly Moblins in the original Zelda right before they give you rupees, and in some subsequent games, this line appears in either it's original form or a variation. Reveal any that you've seen in any Zelda game. Here's one I literally just noticed right now in Twilight Princess. The Goron on the balcony overlooking Hyrule Castle talks to you about the barrier over the castle, then says, and I quote, "I must tell you, I have kept this a secret from the others. Yes, it is a secret to everybody." What are the others that you've seen.

There's one in Skyward Sword somewhere...ah yes!



The Parella says it about the entrance to Faron's Spring. I also think the Kikwi Hermit on top of the Great Tree says it, about the Mark of Farore.

No, I haven't. Actually, it never really crossed my mind. I actually don't know if I even passed those Moblins in The Legend of Zelda.

Majora's Mask...in the hidden shrine...I think.

Can't say I remember this line, course, can't say I ever looked for it either. It's one of those things that if you're looking for it, it shows up everywhere, but if not, it won't.

To be honest, I wasn't looking for it in Twilight Princess when I found it. It's just something that I noticed when talking to that Goron.

The solider you can bribe to in OoT to open the gate says a variation of this too.

Doesnt the goron kicking it on the ledge in Death Mountain in TP also say Its a Secret To Everybody? I could have sworn he did.

Saw the original and saw the one in OOT, now will be on the lookout for the others. Thanks for the heads up, previous posters. Continuity like this is my absolute favorite thing about the franchise.

Yeah, I found it hilarious when the Goron in TP said it, because it was so random and unexpected. First, he was being all serious and reflective, but it was all a red herring to try to sell you arrows.

Two of the Kikwi say it in SS as well. Yerbal, the hermit Kikwi at the top of the tree, and also Erba, the Kikwi trying to blend in with the grass.



I can't find an image of Erba, but he does say it after he either gives you something, or reveals a secret. I can't remember.
