Zelda Lullabys

Hey guys, I have been working on creating a couple of lullaby tracks from the zelda games to play to my baby when he/she arrives.

So far i'm working on 'lullabying up' the obvious ones ( Zelda's Lullaby, Outset Island and Ballad of the Wind Fish) but I need some more tack ideas.

Any suggestions?

Perhaps the main theme for Skyward Sword? The one that Zelda sings with her harp. :o

I also think you should consider Nayru's Song. I think if you slow it down a bit it would make a great lullaby. As would the Serenade of Water.

Awsome! I also thought Earth God's Lyric and Wind God's Aria would be good ones.

I've heard a "Music Box" version of OoT Kakariko Village and it was lovely. So you could try that! Possibly Medli's Prayer as well?

Ballad of the Godess (regardless of Zelda's lullaby)
Midna lament (or whatever the actual name is)

lol, yeah I do know that. I couldn't remember the song title, but I had to leave right then and there so I posted and ran, without any more thought.

Either way, the song may be Zelda's lullaby backwards, but it's its own song regardless. :]

I liked the other suggestions and figured I'd throw in a few more

Epona's song: It might not be your style, but I figure it fits the theme very nicely.

Great Fairy theme: maybe something re-done? or something like this?

hm.. I guess I could only think of 3 different ones total. Either way, it all depends on your own likes and dislikes. :3

I love the idea though. If you stick by it.. I kind of want to be your friend, just so I can know how it went. Because your child will be growing up to some awesome music. ;D And clearly he or she will have a caring parent. :]

OoT - Lon Lon Ranch

SS - Gate of Time

I don't mind really. It all depend on the time ill have to make them. Ill just see what i like, see how many i can turn to good lullaby's and then try and record them all.

Sacred Grove from TP definitely has lullaby potential.
Tarm Ruins from OoS.
I would WANT to say the Silent Realms from SS, but in certain parts of each song, there's an eerie tone to it; not necessarily something you'd want in a lullaby.
Zora's Domain from OoT.
Link's Awakening from LA.
Minish Village from Minish Cap.
Credits from WW.

Wow, I'm surprised no one has said the song of healing yet..... That was truly the most soothing Zelda song....

How about the Song of Healing?

Not completely though...just portions of it were...ololololo

How about the Astral Observatory song?

I think the Gate of Time and Stone Tablet pieces from Skyward Sword would be nice.

What I like: Zelda Theme, Song of Healing, Serenade of Water, Fairy Fountains, and title screen music (like OoT and TP). These are soothing tunes.

ZELDA BABY!! Name it Pippit! Or Fi! Or something weird like that. lol jk

I think Nayru's song could be nice if you tone it down a bit (I like the 8-bitness made it a lot more obnoxious than it was supposed to be). I also think the SS theme / Zelda's Lullaby could work. Oh and Ballad of the Wind Fish could maybe work if you slow it down.
