Show off your Zelda Tattoos!

Hey so i want to get a tattoo on my forearm. (i think thats from the wrist to the elbow)

i already have a triforce on the back of my neck, and i would like to get another one on my arm, where my twin sister got hers.

i want a quote in Hylian characters, but i don't know what i want it to say

i was either thinking "the wind... it is blowing" or "hey listen!" with a little navi beside the writing .

do you guys know of any other short quotes that i can get on my arm?

I'm planning on getting the Hylian F from Twilight Princess at some point. But you could always just choose a single word. Courage, Wisdom, Power. Zelda? Maybe even something abstract like "hookshot." would be cool. It's a game of choosing which words are most important and which are the prettiest spelled out.

okay i would go with the navi idea than.

I'm sure you know what an F is, but it's the last letter on the top row. I think it looks really cool, and stands for a lot of different things for me. I love the design of the letter, as well. And would be a mysterious tattoo.

I would do one that said either "Hyrule" or "Triforce" or "Zelda"

just out of curiosity. if i were to spell something out with those letters, it wouldn't ♥♥♥♥ it up would it? like is it as simple as just putting letter to symbol? or is there more too it?

and i like the zelda idea. i think ill get "zelda" in that writing. I'm so happy right now

And NOPE! Would not mess it up at all. If you look at the letters, you'll actually find that they look a LOT like actual Latin characters. It's almost easy to read this form of Hylian. If you write out ZELDA in those characters, you'll be able to read the word ZELDA if you look with a trained eye.

I'm glad I could make your night The F, for me, stands for Farore, the Goddess of Courage. In turn, making the F stand for Courage, as well, a virtue which I hold dear to my heart thanks to Zelda. It is a nod to Link, as he is the holder of the Triforce of Courage, and the Zelda series in general, my favorite video games. Plus, it is unique and original, all my own idea, and I don't think anyone else will have this tattoo. In later years, it will stand for more to me than just Zelda, but the virtues it has instilled in me, as well. People also won't be able to instantly recognize it, and it gives me a good story to tell.

man. thats the best thing about zelda. is that you can get an f and it means all that and more to you. i mean you can do that with a lot of games, but i think zelda fans deffinately are more passionate about what everything means. sounded really cheesy but i love this stuff and people who can relate.

Heh. I love the cheese factor. I don't mind sounding cheesy if it's something I really mean.
And definitely! I will post it as soon as I get it, if I ever do. I really hope so though, because I have put a lot of thought into it. Talking about it makes me want it even more!

I'd never get one myself, mainly due to a fear of needles on top of the fact I change my tastes all the time and would never permanently mark myself for that reason.

But if you really are dead set on a tattoo, I would think maybe a design incorporating one of the spiritual stones on an area like the shoulder or ankle would look nice. Maybe even use one of the medallions as a centerpiece for an image with wings designed to correspond with the element across your upper back? Though I think that's pretty big if its your first tattoo...

I would do either
Hyrule
Triforce
Or you could write your name.

Ha, same here. I change quite often....so I'm still considering it. If I do get one, I'll get something small and nothing I have to look at every time I look down...

I really like this idea too, so I might combine it with something else, or write a whole message in this language
