Favourite Zelda Music

One of my favourites:


Oh, and the ALttP Dark World theme song. Aaaand... Midna's Lament. Wind Waker's credits were great too... and as others have pointed out, the Stone Tower in MM had great music.

But, now for the coup de grâce:

It has seemed to have all the Zelda feelings into one on this track when I hear it. I feel adventure, darkness, and most of all good memories with friends and family when I was 9 years old playing OOT.

Tal Tal Heights, NOT the Brawl remix though.

8-bit music at its best for the under-appreciated game that introduced the beloved Ocarina.

wellll A link to the past came before link's awakening and that introduced the ocarina so that would be what introduced it

Well, it was called the "flute" in ALTTP, so I assumed that it was introduced in Link's Awakening. Turns out it was a mistranslation in ALTTP.

I love the song of storms, its one of my favorites. Every time it rains I get reminded of it and all of the great times ive had playing Zelda.

Zant's Final Battle theme is my favorite. It's so insane and fast paced.

The Fairy Fountain theme is so beautiful. I love how it never changes. It's the same in every game. The Zora melody is relaxing as well in every single Zelda title.

Anything from the WW is pure nostalgia for me. I used to help my Dad with that game when I was four or five.

Personally my favourite overworld theme would have to be either the Ocarina of Time Hyrule Field theme or the Twilight Princess Hyrule Field Theme. Both of them have such strong orchestral balance and they make it seem that running for hours on end across a giant field isn't such a bad idea!

I would have to choose a couple, I cant only choose one ...

Song Of Healing - Majoras Mask - Its beutiful, simple and elegant, it makes me so emotional every time i hear it.

Forest Temple Theme -Ocarina Of Time - Its so earthy, dark and twisted but at the same time. It reminds me of the earth and its natural beuty

Requiem Of Spirit - Ocarina Of Time - Its so dark, and twisted. But it makes me stop and listen, it catches my soul.

Midnas Desperate Hour - Twilight Princess - Midnas song is so beutiful, its shows her pain and sorrow, to me its a touching song that makes me smile.

Out of all of them I would probably choose Midnas Desperate Hour. It is pretty dark but that Midna in a nutshell. Its very moving and I love it...

My favorites (in no particular order)-


Midna's Desperate Hour (Midna's Lament) (TP)
I just love the emotion this song emits. It can move you; it moved me.


Spirit Temple Theme (OoT)
This music... I can't express how much I LOVE it. Easily my all time favorite Zelda song. I've actually replayed OoT just to hear that music and experience the temple again.


Wind Waker Unplugged (WW)
This technically isn't game music, but it is. This guy is incredible. He can play every instrument ever (exaggerated XD). Just awesomesauce.


Gerudo Valley Theme (OoT)
Okay, be truthful, who doesn't like this music? I went to Gerudo Valley often just to listen and hum. I want to learn to play the guitar someday; I would SO learn this.

Okay, one more XD Just so I don't make this page impossible to load.


Hyrule Castle Theme (ALttP)
Another much loved Zelda song. This is one of the only reasons why I continue to try to beat ALttP -- the music. So good.

My favorites are The Opening Song of Wind Waker (The Part with the Scroll), The actual opening of Wind Waker (Where it says to press Start), and Gurudo Valley from Twilight Princess.

Oh, and the Field Theme of the First Game.

I'm only about halfway through TP, and I must say I've got a hankering to buy the OST. lol. The music is beautiful!! I also own OoT's OST. Very good songs

I like the song in Majora's Mask where you march and sometimes the little cuccos follow you. I hum that sometimes. it's cute haha

My favorite Zelda song is definetly the wind waker Molgera theme. ITS SO EPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND did you fart? phoooey!

My second favorite would be midnas lament

ZREO made all the track sound incredibly better, but my favorite ones have to be from Wind Waker, especially Outset Island and the Great Ocean.

Song of Storms from OoT. The first time i heard it i almost cried lol.
I also like Saria's song, its pretty awesome.
And The temple of time music from OoT. Its amazing, also my favorite of all!

I guess the Zora's Domain theme from TP would come first, with the day 1 Clock town theme coming at a very close second.

my favourite would have to be the theme of midna of twilight princess. it was creepy but in a good way

i've always been a sucker for Zelda's Lullaby, especially if it's orchestrated...i can't remember off the top of my head at the moment but i do remember loving most of the music for twilight princess too

By far my favorite song from the Zelda series is the dark world theme from A Link To The Past. Although the Song of Storms from Ocarina of Time has a special place in my heart as well.
