OoT music from mario bros III?

ok maybe my memory is wrong but the song that the magic flute in mario 3 plays, isnt that the same as the first few notes of the flute in OoT title screen?!?!?!

Yes it is.
And the flute from SMB3 is the same flute as the one in the first Zelda (shocking).

Hey, I never noticed that the first few notes of the OoT theme was from that TLoZ flute... that's cool!

Ah, that's why the flute sounded so familiar.... it's from SMB3! I knew that that was from another game, but I couldn't think what. I never noticed that it was at the beginning of the OoT theme either. Interesting observation.

I've noticed that the magical flutes tune is the first few notes in the OoT title song. But for other slight similarites between the musci of OoT and SMB 3, I have yet to discover.

Hey! I never noticed that before...It did sound rather familiar, though. ^~

I found another one:

World 3 theme from Mario 3 and Great Fairy them from OoT/WW.

One or two notes seem to be different but they are incredibly similar none the less.

saria's song and the flute in ALTTP are NOT the same! they are WAY different!!!!!!

Wow, their the same. Its so amazing that two games with the same composer would use the same song.
And the Flute in LttP sounds nothing like Saria's Song. It sounds slightly like the Song of Storms, if anything.

I love how Nintendo hides those little comparisons in between its games. As for those specific examples, I had never noticed that they were the same tune in the Zelda OoT title screen, though I did hear a similarity.
