CD-i Zelda - have you played them?

Having recently completed Zelda: Wand of Gamelon and Link: Faces of Evil, I was wondering who has actually played the Philips CD-i Zelda games. What did you think of them?

I doubt there are words that can describe my hatred of these... "games".
The third, Zelda's Adventure, was the only one I was able to endure.

Of course, I, being the insane Zelda fan I am, thought it only right that I should
own these games, they are after all Zelda, and surely they couldn't be as bad
as everyone said they were.
Could I have been more mistaken...
If I had not spent so much money on them, I would have incinerated them by now.

This article should give you an idea of the quality of Faces of Evil. I haven't played any of the CDi-games though.

Yup played them, and well what can i say. They looked good for the time (in places) as they had video captured people in and some of the textures/graphics looked nice but the gameplay was pretty shocking.

I've heard of them. I don't think I want to try them, reading the reviews and stuff.

Nope...I've never played them, but I have heard of them. Judging from all the bad feedback I've heard of these games...I don't think I'll ever play them. ^^;

The Zelda's Adventure had the best gameplay out of the 3, but the gameplay was very stupid. And yes, i've played all three of them.

Call me crazy, but I absolutely would love to try them all. Call me a glutton for punishment, but it's more for the humerous value than anything..

That's what I thought. And there is no humor, unless its the kind that makes
you vomit (as there's plenty of that).

Never played them, but I know that they completely lack the ingredients of a good game. Even the soundtracks are bad.

I've never herd of them until recently. Tell me, what is soo bad about it? I heard the gameplay sucked but what excatly made it suck? To easy? Stupid items? What?

these were all horible. I cant belive I was able to finnish any of them without dieing. (although, ZA was the best of the three piles of crap.)

played the two first once personly there are worse games out there. The games playing with a cdi-controller was a pain.
(are there any roms of these games cause it is unlikly they turn up again in the stores)?

To answer your question, No, there's no roms of these games, they do have ISO images of the games but you would need a CDI console and a CD Burner to use them, I don't think you can play CDI on your PC, and Don't even bother, the games aren't worth it.
