Best Zelda Villain (Besides Ganon)

Yes, another favorite someting thread. Pick your favorite villain in a Zelda game, other than Ganon(dorf). I've left him out so that the other options have a chance at getting picked.
My favorite villain was Veran from Oracle of Ages, because she had more personality and a more active role in the game than most of the others. That, and she doesn't go down easily--you have to defeat her four times before she gives in!

Agahnim, He dressed so cool! Evil wizards are so wonderful. The way he transports Zelda to the Sacred Realm was so pretty. He may have just been Ganon's puppet but he still rocked!

I'de have to go with Aganihm just because he's that cool, also He sorta started the whole super evil socerer thing. Veran, Vaati, and twinrova totally played off this dude. He was, is, and will always be the "main champion #1!"

I would have to go with Veran, as I just completed OoA today, and re-realized her might and variety.
She is challenging to an extent, and does seem to have a character. I also might add her perservearance, as she first takes over Nayru, and then Queen Ambi, and then fights alone.
Oh, and she's a woman that isn't afraid of becoming a bug.

I'd probably have to say Aganihm, he was cool!

Heh, you should have included Ganon-not everyone likes him the most.
Also, it may just be me, but what about Dark Link form OoT?

I voted for General Onox.

He seemed to be very intimidating, in my opinion.

Twinrova these two are the real masterminds they used ganon, onox and veran as the saw fit

I voted Agahnim, I also like Vaati but I still prefer Agahnim.

I always did envy Wizards and Mages.

Favorite villian? I guess that means main villians, because Vire and Facade are my favs. For a game's main villian, I'd say Veran. She had the best evil plan out of Seasons and Ages, and her fight was FUN. I really enjoyed it. I didn't loose to her, it was the first Zelda game I beat, so also my first final boss battle, and I really thought it was fun. Not annoying like some bosses. And she wears a weird hat.

Oh, I'd have to agree with you (Veran is a very close second to me). I find Twinrova to be Ganon/Ganondorf's "Right hand woman", if you want to fight Ganon, you have to go through her and all of her minions. In the Oracle games she made sure that either way (if Onox or Veran Won), Ganon would be brought back alive from a sacrificial offering (either one/both of the Oracles' bodies or Onox' and Veran...or a combination of the two).

I voted for Twinrova. The magical attacks were awesome, the forms were ace and her ability to use other enemies at will was great.

I voted for the Nightmare in LA. Why? Because of all the villians on that list, Nightmare is probably the most mysterious and most unknown. Nobody knows what this thing is, and why it's invaded the dreams of the Windfish. Sort of like a mythical Freddy Krueger, if you will. Completly on his own and without known cause, you never know what you're getting into or what you'll face next with him around.

Not to mention we see him take the form of both Ganon and Agahnim, so who knows how far Nightmare's powers extend.

Since he was a creation from the Windfish's nightmare (BTW, I'm pretty sure his name is something like Dethl), I'm sure his powers extend as far as your imagination...limitless! As for his purpose, I always thought he wanted to rule and have complete control over the Windfish's mind. As for what the Windfish has control of that Dethl wants, we don't know.

It's Veran: VARE-en.

Majora. It was a evil spirit trying to end the world... plus it had a weird sense of humor, like turning Link into Deku Scrubs.

I think I would have to say Veran as my second favorite villan to Ganondorf. She seemed to have the most personality as a villan, you got to be threatened by her more, and you fought her several times in the game before you actually beat her.
