Favourite sidekick of Link?

Link has had a sidekick in almost every single video game. Some sidekicks are greatly hated by the fans, while others are greatly loved. Share YOUR favorite sidekick in this thread.

Since, of course, a picture is worth a thousand words, here's mine:



Linebeck is without a doubt, the funniest character in Zelda. He was the Han Solo of the Zelda series. I was a bit disappointed when he received a smaller role in ST, though.

I loved the hat thing in the minish cap (Ezlo). it was funny because it would always yell at me, and i thought it was really cute. and it was full of advice and it said funny things

Midna. She was sarcastic, mean (in a playful way), and I liked her design, especially her true form we see at the end.

Midna. Shes like all of my girlfriends (that Ive had SEPERATLY)

I like the disclaimer about having them separately... totally made me lol.

I like Ezlo the best. Tatl was a snot for too long (though she was cool towards the end,) Navi stated the obvious too much, and I have no personal experience with Midna. Ezlo was just a win little Minish hat. He was funny, and also helpful. His ridiculous squawk just made my day whenever I heard it. ^^

For nostalgia purposes, Navi, even though she got annoying as hell..."Hey! Listen!", oh god. The problem with her, though, is that you never really see her. Yea, you see a glowing blue ball, but you don't actually see a physical being, which is kind of what drew me away from really liking her as a character.

I'm not too into the wise-guy characters either, like Tatl or Midna. I think I like The King of Red Lions the most honestly, I can't really explain why though.

Midna. She is the definition of sexy in her true form and her intimate moments make it all the better.

PS: After watching the "what if zelda had lyrics?" youtube vid, I reeally wanna change my sig to, "Why? CUZ ITS THE MUTHUH FUKKIN LEGEND OF ZELDA!!"

Ok, seriously. I adored Midna. She was the sidekick with the most interesting backstory in a Zelda game ever. She was sarcastic too :D

Midna, she's a goddess.
It's always been a dream of mine to have a Midna stuffed doll.

I would have to say The King of Red Lions. Not only did he help you travel, but he had the most epic "HEY!" whenever he used to rock-phone thing. My friend and I actually made a parody of the "Gary come home" song from Spongebob into "Boatie come home".

Although I initially was not a fan of Midna, I have to say, she eventually grew on me.

I really liked Navi, unlike, pretty much, the entire world. She was a good balance between having a solo adventure and having an adventure with an amigo (which I hate in videogames). I liked her simple personality and I only found her annoying when I was off doing sidequests and she was like "Hey, what if we checked out the blah blah Sheik told us about?". But it didn't really bother me. She was fun and she was nice.

Dang no love for Tatl at all? She had a lot of depth in MM and a motivation. I liked the conversation she had with Tael in the end which made me like her even more.

Midna was also a great character. She was mean in a playful way and Navi didn't really have much depth.

Defenitely Navi. She made OoT for me; without her, it just wouldn't be the loveable OoT it is for me today. Unlike some, I thought her "Hey, Listen!"s and such were cute, that's what made her Navi.

The "Watch out!" with the enemy chime was also pretty cute. I guess your nickname is pretty adequate for you, then =b

I really liked Midna for a while. Her backstory was really interesting, but my favorite is Navi. She may have been annoying, but she was ****ing Navi. She was an amazing help when I had no idea how to kill an enemy.

Midna without a doubt. She's quirky, had real spunk and she put Link in his place! She had an amazing background and I loved how she evolved through TP as a character.

hmm.. I guess I'll go for Ezlo. I had more nice memories with him, and I love his quirky voice. XD

1 Ezlo. He had lots of personality and a unique character design MC would have not been as fun if he had not been in it. Also his theme music was great.

2 Tatle Had a bit more personality then Navi and was a big help. I always like that bell sound she makes


3 Navi. She was a big help. I never found "Hey listen" and "Watch out" anoying. Mabey its just me.

4 Midna Though she did have a lot of personality I always found her to be anoying. If they ever do a TP anime Linda Young would be the perfect voice for Midna.
