Just thought I would talk about things which I love in games, mostly because they're just cool and interact with the Wii's on board calender. Now... on quite a few games there are easter eggs, little secrets that only happen on certain days of the year within the game. Now the last games I remember doing this are obviously Most famously Animal Crossing, because that game is all about the calendar year and the seasons. You'd get Santa coming on Christmas eve and the easter bunny and everything like that. I really love things like that which happen due to the time or date that the game is being played. Obvious other games like this include pokemon games since G & S, Simpsons Road rage and many others. I've noticed that not many Zelda games (if any) contain these special date unlocking easter eggs, SO my question for the forum is "If You could choose THREE date/holiday related easter eggs to be put into SS what would they be?"
Mine would be as follows, 1. On Christmas eve Links tunic would turn red and he would grow a beard, obviously then whenever you entered a cut scene this would still appear, and just be kinda funny. On Christmas day it would snow in Hyrule also.
My third would be Halloween where a Dark Link Sidequest would arise that you could take part in, Kinda like the Nintendo Touring pokemon special events. What do you think?
1. For Christmas: The entire land of Hyrule, except for maybe the desert area would be snowing.
2. For Easter: All enemies in Hyrule Field will be replaced with bunnies, and will all have the same strength, just bunnies.
3. For Thanksgiving: There'd be a special Turkey catching minigame in a village, and you win a special price if you complete it...
4. For Halloween: Well, you'd get a secret dungeon unleashed where you get another secret prize if you make through it. It will be filled with the darkest enemies of the Zelda series, and most likely a special Halloween themed boss to go with it.
