i agree, i love link from OOT because hes realistic, but when when zelda gc comes i think it will get some competition

Kid Link (OoT, MM) is soo cute! I think he looks better in the MM game then in the OoT.

Hero of winds.(just like every other link, only funnier) Second would be the one from ALTTP.

pretty sure these are all gonna be OoT and later, but i like child link wether OoT or MM, i guess WW link is sorta a kid too

The problem with the Links earlier than OoT is that they have very little personality, since they are sprites, and there is no way for them to be portrayed with personality, unless of course they have lines, which Link never does.

So, in that sense, I will have to go with Young Link from OoT & MM, leaning more towards the MM version. The Hero of Winds is too goofy, I think, although not bad.

After giving it some thought I realized having a "favorite" link is crap on so many levels.

Explain this belief, then Tiger. Simply stating that adds nothing to this pointless discussion. Make a point.

as far as looks go, it obvious to go with OoT link. But my favorite Link overall is tWW link simplybecause he has most personality over all the other links. See with the facial expressions in the game we see that: Link doenst like his new green cloths, he loves elixir soup, he's cautious about the potions that the potion man gives him, he gets a little afraid when he holds up his sheild because he doesnt like to get hurt. The list could go on and on. In tWW we really get to see who link is by analyzing the emotions he shows when confronted by certain things, whether it be food or material objects. In OoT Link usually has a semi-bored look on his face, like someone wants him to sit still for a painting. Whenever the OoT gets an item he well, smiles. Even if its a frog's eyeball he still smiles. smiling all the time wont really reveal to anyone what kind of person you are......except that you might really enjoy taking prozac...a lot..

I'm really not big on explaining my opinion becuase it's one of the most pointless things a person can do, unless they're paid to. But since you requested....

To have a favorite Link is stupid, simply becuase at the core every link is the same when it comes to role and personality.

Let's compare the hero of winds with the hero of time, shall we?

When both of thier tales started, they were both lazy klutzes. They were both asleep, and damned near killed to get to wake up at the start of thier adventures. Dispite thier lazy attitudes, each Link was extremly selfless. The hero of time displays this when he rushes to aid the deku tree without second thought and the Hero of Winds displays his selflessnes when he rushes to help tetra from her pursuers.

They're both kids through and through, which means somewhat thickeheaded and reckless. Through out thier adventures they both display themselves as skilled but oddly enough, clumsy at the same time.

The hero of time didn't actually become cool in my book until MM. In MM he was STILL reckless, but alot less of a dork; The events of OOT had obviously changed him, he had developed into a warrior.

The next 3D game will do for the hero of winds what MM did for the hero of time. And that's diaply how he has grown the mentality of a soldier. (if it is the hero of winds that is)

Thry're the only two links to have their persona's shown, and they're the same. So why wouldn't all the other links be as well?

To pick a favorite character out of a group of characters that are all the same is just plain dumb. If you like one Link, you like them all.

I gues i'd say 2005, but ACTUALLY i like using Link in Smash Bros. the most with the black costume ^_^. BUt htat's just for looks.

Otherwise, i'd have to agree with the WW Link. Plus WW has recently surpassed OOT in my opinion and has become my fav. game (amazing, i know) so that makes htis link all the better. Plus ALL of his weapons look cooler, like the hookshot ^_^

WW. He adds comic relief to the game, and yet still has a lot of serios moments. (Its also the first link to show amotions.

Adult link from oot and link from alttp are tied.

Adult Link from OoT, Fierce Diety Link from MM, and any Link wearing the Zora Tunic (that includes blue Link from FS)

I like the Oot Link the best, but WW Link has got to be the first runner up. No doubt about that,...............or is there?

tWW link is my fave, just look at the expressions he can pull off, if you just look at the top left of this very page u will see what i mean. WW link is my fave
