Re: Which game had the best Boss's
Hmmm, I'll go with aLTTP. I think the bosses were well thought out, and had good abilities. They were hard to beat too towards the back end of the game, and provided a challenge. Plus, I think Trinexx from Turtle Rock was my favourite Zelda boss of all time. If they did that in 3-D I would be happy. The bosses in all the games were challenging, I just thought that aLTTPs bosses were better. Maybe I'm reminiscing again, who knows? :-P

Re: Which game had the best Boss's
I was going to say Oot, because it was the first time Zelda bosses were in 3-D
but most of them had just been reused from LoZ. So I think Alttp had the best bosses, and the hardest, and my favorite boss ever, the Helmasaur. Now that would look good in 3-D.

Re: Which game had the best Boss's
call me a *****ing dickhead... But I voted WindWaker. As little the amount of bosses is, they were all great... Original too, which is hard to find nowa days.

Re: Which game had the best Boss's
I choose MM, because the bosses actually added some challenge to the fight. Plus they were very interesting, seeing how you would use different mask abilities to defeat your foes.

Quote:
I too like the Windwaker bosses the best. Ocarina of Time has the coolest ones in my eyes, but once you found out their weakness, they're not even a challenge. Windwaker's bosses still do damage to me after I've played them three or four times. Plus, they're all also very cool and original. They deserve a lot more respect than they get, big time. Here's a list of how I see the bosses in all the games, scale is 1-5- Legend of Zelda- 3 Adventure of Link- 3 Link to the Past- 3 1/2 Link's Awakening- 3 1/2 Ocarina of Time- 4 Majora's Mask- 4 Oracle of Seasons- 3 1/2 Oracle of Ages- 3 Four Swords- 2 Windwaker- 4 1/2 Four Swords Adventures- ? *haven't really gotten into it* GC Zelda- hopefully 5! Re: Which game had the best Boss's
Ocarina of Time, definitely. It had a total of 10 bosses, if I remember correctly (Gohma, King Dodongo, Barinade, Phantom Ganon, Volvagia, Morpha, Bongo Bongo, Twinrova, Ganondorf, and Ganon.) Each had a unique way of defeating them, and it made the game more addicting.

Re: Which game had the best Boss's
I chose MM. In addition to the huge bosses, there were also two unique and challenging sub-bosses per temple (remember that vampire Gomess?), in additon to other battles like Igos du Ikana. In every battle you had to dodge constant attacks while trying to discover a weakness. I also loved the fast-paced battle with Majora's Wrath, without using the Fierce Deity mask.
The sheer variety and how they all present a challenge tided me over. In the other games that even have sub-bosses, they often become commonplace enemies shortly afterwards. |

Re: Which game had the best Boss's
MM because using the masks's different abilities to defeat the bosses was amazing, especially the boss fight with Twin Mold where you have to use the Giant's Mask to fight it. That alone kicked arse. So, fighting the bosses on a grand scale made playing the game satisfying.

Re: Which game had the best Boss's
Heh heh.
I was watching my older sister fight Gyorg today. She's already played through MM but Gyorg still killed her several times, and she kept pleading for help endlessly. I have to say Gyorg is a very impressive 3D boss, especially if you don't use wimpy tactics to beat him. Definetly a reminder of why all videogamers just love water levels. ![]() |

Re: Which game had the best Boss's
I would have to say Ocarina of Time has the best enimies. The enimies in Majoras Mask lacked creativeness (common how creative is a fish, a bull, a dancing man, and 2 worms) Wind waker was okay but overall the Ocarina Monster were more serious and actually fit the dungeon they where in.
