I have from my own eyes seen PERFECT forged replicas in europe every detail was there... the guy told me that they were made from some very light and solid alloys ... it retailed for 5500Francs ... aka no
Out of curiosity, which one of you people has been randomly emailing Zelda community webmasters about this damn petition?
The Master Sword is ugly, as swords go. The Master Sword is impractical, as swords go. The Master Sword is heavy and thick, as swords go. It'd be expensive as hell to produce, and if they're going for authentic dimensions, probably made out of aluminum to cut down on weight.
You know, alot of people said the same thing about the idea of a Narsil replica. That was mass produced and sold like wildfire. I don't think weight matters as the Narsil replica (I Held one) weighed about 50 pounds. Same thing for Conans sword. Not that they have to make it the actualy size anyway.
That doesn't even take into consideration that there are no fewer than half a dozen official Master Sword design variations. Which one are we to suggest they produce? ALttP alone had three distinct variations.
It doesn't really matter.
Not to mention that, while some of their lines rock (i.e. Henckels), their primary fantasy blade line, Kit Rae, look pretty but suck for quality.
But of course, none of this addresses the real issue: How many people who've signed the petition would even be in a position to buy one?
Another issue is how many people plan on using one after purchase. You'd actually be suprised.
