Link in green

Yes, Link is ALWAYS in green, however the famous OoT arrived, and the ability to change the color of your Tunic came.
But does Link seriously have to wear a Tunic every time?!

I feel that changing links clothes would be like changing a key part of the game. So I voted no. It has always been green, its a part of the story why it's green in some zelda's so no.

I think he should stay with is Tunic. If Link got pants or something, it jjust wouldn't be the same. I think the changing tunics was a good idea in the game. And, if you lost one, you had to buy another, so it made you want to fight like-likes when they attacked.

It's not a dress. It's a tunic.

He wears pants under them. Kilts aren't considerent feminine. Neither are tunics.


He should keep his green tunic. Besides, there usually one or two out fits he can wear in game. Zora tunic or Zora armour etc.

I think there should be a game where Link can get different colored tunics even if they don't do anything special.
However his main tunic should be green.
If it's not green, it's not a Zelda game.

I actually think you can change clothes in SS, so it's a possibility, I think I heard that somewhere on ZU, i forget where though.

Yes SS has been confirmed to have alternative clothing like in OoT and TP.

I think Link should ALWAYS start out in his famous green tunic we all know and love. However, I would like the console games, at least, to continue to get different clothing we can change into like in OoT and TP. It changes up Link's look and is very refreshing, not only that but they always have a cool function.

My favorite had to be the Zora Armor in TP, I'va always wanted something like that in a zelda game. I didn't use the magic armor at all, next time I run the cave of ordeals, I should use that with the 3 darknut room. The hover boots were really cool, just seeing as were on the topic of clothing.

Let Link keep his green tunic. It's like removing Mario from his famous overalls. It's the style that defines them as a character.

It's nice to see Link wearing something different from time to time, but I'd like him to always keep his default clothing of his famous green tunic.

It's almost as if you where going to shave Mario's mustache. You just can't do that type of thing. You can change the graphics, gameplay even, but you gotta keep his signature look.

Couldn't have said it better myself. There's people going into cardiac arrest over him wearing pants in SS, imagine if his wardrobe had a completely 180 turn, lol.

Why fix what isn't broken is what I always say. The tunic characterises Link, taking that away would be like taking a way a sword and making his main weapon a mace or something.

Making him have a second main weapon that is a mace would be cool though.

Link changed tunics in ALttP. The armor upgrades found in the ice dungeon and Ganon's Tower/Castle changed you blue and red respectively. And I believe you could become white in LoZ somehow, too.


But as far as colors go, you should have a choice. YELLOW BANANA MAN COMING TO SAVE HYRULE SHOOP DA WHOOP!

Fair enough, as long as the sword isn't taken away. It would be as bad if they took out bombs, or the bow, they are always there.

You can't can you? If someone draws him wthout one, he doesn't look like Link at all, it's quite funny actually.

I wouldn't like to see a radical change his clothes. Maybe a new design for Link, or change his clothes a bit (like they did in SS). But if they change his outfit, and it looks pretty nice, I wouldn't mind. XD but I hope I never get to see something like this in a zelda game

Why not?!? We have seen him wearing some kind of pijamas in Wind Waker, and after that his "cowboy" clothes in Twilight Princess, and in Spirit Tracks he had an engineer uniform, and he looked DAMN good.

I voted for him to keep his tunic and keep it green, just like almost everyone else. While it's nice to have variation and the option to change from that, the green tunic has, over the years, become a huge staple of Link and The Legend of Zelda series. Change is good and all, but it would seem a bit too different for my liking if Link had a game completely without the green tunic, or if the tunic was just a side item. It just wouldn't feel right to me.
