Official "How Come in Zelda" Thread

This is the official thread for things that happen in the series that probably shouldn't work. For example, why is it faster to travel while rolling or walking backwards than it is to run forwards?

Why doesn't Link ever rest, eat, get sick, etc?

How come there is a bunch of puzzles and very deadly things in sacred places of worship?

How does link carry all those items around so easily?

How do Malon and Talon work at thier Lon Lon Ranch in both OoT and TMC? Two different links and the men stay the same age??!

Maybe they aren't the same people, but they name their decedents after themselves. Similar to Zelda.

That would make a little more sense than time traveling harvesters

Why is it that link never loses? If you die, you just start over.
I'm not complaining that link never loses but.....

why do enemys take so long to kill. if you cut a normal person across the stomach/head they die. moblins and whatnot flinch.

How come it's always daytime?

why is it that if link gets hurt he shows no visible sign of pain or injury, e.g. no scrapes , bruises , or blood???

Why are the Kokiri there at the end of OoT?
Aren't they supposed to die when they leave the woods?

Why isn't the Marothon or Running Man not transformed into a skull(kid) when he enters the Lost Woods, or why doesn't he become 'lost' when he enters that place?

How can the wind waker link look so disprapotionate

How can everyone know Link's answers to the questions they ask when he doesn't talk?

Why are there heart pieces in most games? What happened to the full hearts?

What puzzled me is she getting through the boulder in MM.

Clearly, there is a fourth piece of the Triforce: The Uncanny Triforce belongs to Epona. If she so choose, she could get anywhere in the world. She really just doesn't care enough to help you through the temples.

I've always wondered how the temples get there. Who keeps building temples with puzzles? Why is it that the only bow in all Hyrule is located in one, in a lock chest in the middle of old ruins and why would the builders in the next temple over even incorporate arrows into their already puzzling design plans when they knew that if the last temple ever got pissed at them, well, there goes their ability to get past the front door. But then I remember that in real life, I actually know people that are that big of jerks that they would screw themselves over just to make someone else suffer, so why not?

How come people fill temples with monsters to protect whatever is inside the temple? THEY WORK FOR BAD GUYS!!! Ganon/Malladus/Bellum/Vaati could just walk right in there without taking any damage at all!

Well Aonuma wouldn't publically admit it, but they were coming out with a prequel which takes place two generations before the game when the grandma is young...he wouldn't specify but its because of a mix of FAS and his grandpa also being his dad.

How come you can get "Death by cuccos"?
