What if Tim Burton got a hold of the Zelda Franchise??

That would really be something.
Idk if thats a good or a bad thing.
I think bad cuz it would be too whimsical.

Are you guys stupid? Tim Burton is an amazing director. If anything I think the Zelda franchise would be too dull for his liking.

All of them fantastically directed and scripted. His ability to make a dark story, dark without excessive violence or vulgarity is an unmatched skill. He is an amazing director and we would be lucky if he were the director of a Zelda film.

But seriously the Zelda universe simply isn't somethng he would take on. Its silent protagonist hero Link, is hardly a character which has been developed. And lets face it if there ever was a film and Tim Burton directed it, characterisation would be the main hold of the film Describing the relationship between Link and Ganon, and exploring the motives and back stories of those characters. With some fights along the way.

Also many fans who would want a Zelda film would want something as epic as the LotR triology. Not a character film. We're too dumb a fan base to appreciate those kind of things. To quote Lord Zero, all we would want is someone to flash us big magic epic wars and fights, like dangling a set of keys infront of us.

OOOH! SHINY SHINY! LOOK AT THE SHINY!

Face it Zelda is too crappy for Tim Burton and his magical film making.

I agree that Tim Burton is a fabulous director. I love most of his movies. But he has a specific style that I think would not fit with the Zelda universe portrayed in the games thus far.

That being said, I'd go see the movie regardless of the director.
