Besides, I don't have any sword models other than the master sword. And I am getting sick of the Half-Life 2 Rebels.

Seriously? All you have to gdo is go to the Gmod site and download a few sword models. And there are plenty of NPC characters that can be downloaded to be used instead of the HL2 rebels.

And could you direct me to any suitable NPCs/ragdolls for that time period? I have searched everything I could think of, all I found was Pirates, Vikings and knights wich isnt really suitable.

Oh, as in Medival NPC's? That's a little harder to do...

For NPC's the best I can come up with is this:

My first attempt at something serious

Pretty good. The sword needs to look more like it's moving, not just being held out though. It is hard to do that type of stuff though, so don't think it's easy for me to do sword stuff either xD
Also, heres my pics. I also tryed out something nobody else had done yet in the last one, Photoshop helped alot with that.

The first one and the third one are great, but the second one is too bright. The entire right side is a white blur.

Does anyone know of a model pack that has japanese cherry blossoms (aka these). If not, do you know of a map that has them?

I know these aren't Zelda, but I figured since we're on the topic of Gmod Nintendo-y stuff, I'll put 'em here for now. We probably should create an official Garry's Mod subsection for the Art forums...

I did a lot of Metroid-themed shots today, mostly to hype myself up for "Metroid: Other M". And yes, I am addicted to bloom and rim lighting. So sue me.









-In this next shot, this particular version of Samus I was working with was the bikini version, but the joints for her legs are all messed up. It was good because I didn't have to do so much work in terms of making her look nude using photoshop, but at the price of the unnaturally straight legs. Oh, well. Maybe I'll attempt another version later...

Thats sorta the point. I tried to make it bright on one side, but normal on the left side so the eye would focus on that. Also, the skybox wasn't to fitting.

Also, to Ryu-Gi's pics, I think I just died of amazement. Those are absolutely astonishing! How did you do the bloom so well?

If you ever looked around the Brawl hacking community, you'd get tired of seeing so many people make Samus naked. >.>

Much actually! I'm surprised at how well that worked, I gotta remember that technique. I think it would've been better with the arm smudged too, but it really doesn't matter xD

Not long, just set up the scene, pose the ragdolls, Add the Post-Production effects, and then use the Camera.

I fiddled around a lot with it. Over-dramatizing can actually add just enough drama.

Rhian, I like yours, but Link's stance looks a bit awkward for a sword fight. He's standing a bit too erect, I think.
Not sure why I'm complaining, though, since I imagine that I'll make the same mistake when I get GMod.
