Favorite LoZ moment

What was your favorite moment in the Zelda series? It doesn't have to be a boss, just some moment that you will never forget seeing/doing for the first time. Was it seeing Ganon rise from the rubble in OoT, or calling for the aid of the gardians in MM? Seeing Link and Epona leap over the gates of Lon Lon Ranch, or seeing Zant go insane in TP?
Just write about anything that you will always remember in the Zelda series, no matter how insignificant.

When the ocean began to fall on top of Hyrule in Wind Waker. Really epic.

The ending of WW. It was soo sad. I cried.

There's a few for me.

The Kafei/Anju sidequest in MM. Oh god, the ending when they hug. I swear, I cried. It's so sweet, and they really loved each other. Thinking about if you don't stop the moon, they'll die... It's really quite the heart toucher.

The ending of WW, when the ocean began to fall on Hyrule. Wow, that was amazing and beautiful.

The final boss of OoT, Ganon. The flashes of lightening, the thunder, the fire, the music, Zelda screaming whenever you get hit... Very memorable in my opinion.

Another MM one. At Romani Ranch with the aliens. When (and if) Romani gets abducted and you visit the ranch on the third day, you see her running around in the field all clueless. It makes you feel bad, and I'll always remember that.

The plot for TP was most memorable of all the videogames. It made me laugh, cry, do a success jig, and put on my determination face!

Wind Waker? Really? I just don't understand this younger generation

Gotta go with MM on this one. The specific moment is the sequence that gets you the Goron mask after you play the song of healing to the Goron hero who's name escapes me.

The perfect melody of the Song of Healing mixed with the sequences of the Goron and his feelings and ect. are just the perfect mix. Given I was young when I first played through MM, that part near about led me to tears.

I have a couple...

For oot it was when that geudo pops out of nowhere after you fight the final gerudo gaurd, and gives you the membership card. For some reason I remeber this part really well

In ww, it was when you finally kill ganon, and he says hehe, the wind...is blowing (or something along the lines of that). That whole story about Ganon and wind, is so epic.

Remember obtaining the Master Sword in ALttP? Yeah, that.

You wander through the thick fog, doing your best to avoid being mugged by the thieves hiding throughout the forest. You come across a couple swords, only to find that they are fakes intended to deter others from pressing onward to find the sacred sword. Finally, you enter a clearing in the forest with a path that leads up to a pedetal. Huzzah! The Master Sword! You make your way up claim your prize as little forest animals scamper away. As you lay your hands on the sword and pull it from the stone, the three pendents you collected rise, there is a flash of light, and victory music plays. You've got the Master Sword!

It's almost an ethereal feeling, and just as you think you're ready to go, you hear the telepathic screams of Princess Zelda, whom you thought you had saved. After that great feeling of accomplishment and glee, you're immediately thrown into chaos, and a feeling of anxiety takes over as you rush off to save the maiden who so desperately calls for your help.

...yeaaaah, that was my favorite moment.

Wind Waker is the most memorable to me because it has the unique cell-shade art style that I have grown to love. It is also the only game in the series based on riding a boat across a humungo sea...

Twilight Princess is for me. I loved the part where Ganondorf fell off his horse and got back up laughing evilly and requesting Link to fight him........but then Link killed him in the end!

Majoras Mask. Just think about it for a minute, and there will be moments which is funny. XP

I have a few:
-OoT- when the redeads in the tomb where you get the Sun's Song jumped on my back and strangled the life right out of me. I'll never forget how terrified I was.
-MM- the haunting screams when you put on the Goron, Zora or Deku mask.
-WW- Sneaking around Ganon's fortress in a barrel. So funny. Big monsters, searchlights and a giant bird and I get to the big man himself in a barrel.

My overall favorite game is a tie between OoT and WW. OoT because it was my first Zelda game and made me fall in love with the series. WW because of how unique it was. Sailing around a HUGE world and there was just SO MUCH to do after you beat the game.

Awww...OoT for sure. I was like a baby back then. I beat the game thinking it was an unbeatable game. Oh, I was so sad.
