Finding something never discovered before

This is just a general question. I've been playing the Zelda games for a long time and although I have discovered some novel tricks or strategies, I've always wondered if it was possible to find an entirely new place, person, or item that has never been found by anyone before. In a game as well-known as OoT or TP, is this possible? ROM versions are available for most zeldas, but the source code (as far as I know) is not, which means that theoretically some sequence of events could open up an area or part of the game never before seen. I don't expect this to be a large area. Maybe something small like a grotto. I'm sure that all of the obvious places have been found, but what if for some reason it was programmed that (this is just an example) if you bomb a certain place in the wall 10 times in a row it breaks and a grotto inside is revealed? How do we know for sure that a secret place like that doesn't exist in one of the Zelda games? Basically I'm just hoping that I or someone else can find something secret or very well-hidden. Any thoughts?

The games have been so hacked that it's very unlikely that all of them missed something while hacking, and while hacking, you have access to everything.

Re: Finding something never discovered before

That's what kind of bums me out whenever I use cheats/hacks or play Zelda for the purpose of finding something new. It's already been found out before by another Zelda gamer.

But that still doesn't prevent me from turning to classics like Alltp and MM.

I don't see how using a hacking device would uncover all of the secret places. If an entrance doesn't appear until you've completed a certain sequence of actions, you still wouldn't be able to get inside with a hack if you don't know that the entrance can appear or what those actions are.
