How long have you been a fan of the Zelda series?

I started liking it when my brother got Majora's Mask around 1999 or 2000, which is the first Zelda I played. Then soon after I bought OoA and OoS for my Gameboy. I always wanted to play OoT, and I finally did when I got it for $5 at an antique shop a few years back.

You played it in 2000. It was released October 20th of that year.

Since my brother borrowed ALttP for SNES from a friend and forgot to give it back.

I don't know when it was, but it was definately before LA DX and OoT were released, since I remember hearing about those games and eventually getting them as gifts. Hell, it may have been around the time I started learning how to read.

Since 1992, I was 7 at the time and had just discovered the Nintendo, and all the big names like Mario, Zelda and Mega Man.

About 5 when I got my first Zelda game and I was hooked the game was WW

since 4 as well, I had a SNES back then XD

I've been a fan for about 9 years now. Actually, the game that got me initially into Zelda was Smash Bros. Melee. I got really intrigued by the Zelda characters and so I got a used copy of OoT and gave it a try. Funny enough, I wasn't that interested in it at first! (Actually, I couldn't find the Kokiri sword so I gave up.) Then I got MM and gave it a try. WW is the first one I truly got involved in and cemented the Zelda series as my favorite. After finishing it, I went back to finally finish OoT and realized the magic of that game as well. Later on, I went to MM again and realized thats my favorite in the whole series. After that, I just got Zelda game after Zelda game, both the newer and older ones and played and loved each one. So, yeah, thats my story.

I first played Ocarina when I was about 10, so I guess almost 12 years now.

About 10 years to be honest. 10 years this Christmas was when Ocarina of Time came into my life with the arrival of an N64 and a copy of the game.

I was about 2 years old and I remember watching my brother play LoZ.

I actually can't remember which year my brother got OoT. But I'd say around ten years ago, fell in love with it after watching my brother play for hours and hours. Then I played it, and never looked back. :')

1998. I guess I was about 7 or 8. Seems as though the majority here came around the late 90's.

like 10 years or so. i played zelda 1 and alltp back when the nes and snes were still going strong, but i didn't really become a fan until Oot and MM.

Hmmm, I can never really remember a period in my life when I wasn't a Zelda fan. Hmmm... I don't know. As long as I can remember, I guess.

Since Ocarina of Time. I think I was seven when I got into it, so 10 years.

Kind of hard for me to say.
We had an nes in the house since before I was born, and my family was playing LoZ at that time. Then when I was 6 I got my snes and I only rented alttp and didn't enjoy it at all. Some time a little after this I rented OoT but didn't get very far. When I was 9 I bought LA and fell in love with it, but I didn't play any others. Finally, my parents preordered WW for me (they actually only put 5 dollars down and had no intention of ever getting the game) and I got the rereleased version of OoT for valentines day of 2003.

I'll go with 6-10 years even though I've technically been playing them longer than 10 years.

I think when I was between 4-6 years old, started playing ALttP and got OoT I think a year or so after it came out so I wasn't to old

I've loved Zelda since I began TP for the Wii! It was beautiful, had an amazing story and array of characters, and the dungeons were (usually) massive! Although I'd played both the GBA remake of ALttP and FS before TP, I still credit my love for Zelda to TP! Since, I've played most Zelda games (having beaten most of them? Hardly.), except AoL, LA, OoS, MM, and FSA. I haven't played thos Tingle games either; they aren't available in the USA anyway. The point is, I've been a fan of Zelda for about 2-3 years now. My favorite is WW, TP coming in fairly close second, and MC in close third.
