Re: How long have you been a fan of the Zelda series?
My uncle plays the original Zelda all the time! I first saw him play that when I was 5 or 6, a little after when I played OoT when I was 4, and he let me play the original. That was the first time I played the original. And I called the Like-Likes "Pancake Monsters!" I'm serious. I still call them that to this very day. My uncle still plays the original on his NES to this day, and he can beat it so fast! And he knows every secret and easter egg by heart! He will not play any other Zelda though. I don't know why. He has watched me play ALttP and OoT though. My uncle is awesome.
And the first time I played MM was when I was 6. I've never beaten it, and it's still hard for me. I played the portables, OoA and OoS maybe a little before. I have never beat those either. And then I started playing every other Zelda game that came out, |

Re: How long have you been a fan of the Zelda series?
I've been into Zelda since 2001, when my dad got me an N64 and the blessing of MM. I was 7 years old at the time, and was addicted to the series ever since.

Re: How long have you been a fan of the Zelda series?
Once I was about 5 or 6 years old. My dad taught me how to play the first stage in Ocaraina of time, and then I picked it up from there.

My big sister was a zelda fan for at least 15 year. I don't remember when, but I had to be like, 5.

Re: How long have you been a fan of the Zelda series?
Ive been a fan for about 2 years.
We were going on vacation and my mom let me and my brother choose a free used game boy game from gamestop before we left. I chose tetris (brainy me ) and my brother got the gameboy port of ALttP. Eventually my brain started hurting from all the falling blocks, and my brother was asleep, so I decided to play a bit of it. It was at that moment that I realized that I never saw the true potential a videogame had. It was awesome. A year later, I had beaten ALttP 100% and needed more! so I bought OoT on virtual console (which as you all know, was epic). Most people learn an instrument because of Guitar Hero, I learned piano because of the great songs on that game. It was August when I beat that and I needed even MORE to satisfy my awesome videogame hunger, so I bought Twilight Princess. I was surprized when I beat this game in only a month, compared to the many months required to go through Oot. And I learned that there was even more potential in a videogame than ALttP showed me. I know some of you aren't that fond of TP, but that game is my favorite of all the zelda games. It had great graphics, awesome storyline, the best controls for a game so far, and gave me that sense of adventure these games forced me to come back to. At this point, you could compare me with zelda games with an alcoholic and beer. I had to get more, so I borrowed WW from a friend. The graphics were pretty good (I'm sorta artsy in a way) and had many sidequests which I liked. It didn't feel as memorable as any of the other games I had played so far, and was very easy (took my only 8.5 hours to beat my first time). Now I'm playing the original LoZ game, and I am shocked at the difficulty (mainly defeating the enemies, the puzzles are easy cheezy). I am sorry if you wasted five minutes reading that, I've been waiting a while to let that all out. ![]() |

Re: How long have you been a fan of the Zelda series?
Ever since either the year OoT came out or just the year after. I had played the original before then, but I wouldn't really consider myself a fan then. It's gotta be nearing 11 years by now, so I voted that.
