Hmm..well I do like the MalonXLink pairing in OoT but as I got older I could see how people would say ZeldaXLink is more possible. But nonetheless, I still like the MalonXLink pairing.

In Twilight Princess, even though she does leave, I would have to say MidnaXLink. It clearly shows they have some feelings for each other (friendship or even love) and they do spend most of the game with each other.

Speaking about Sheik, when I was little I thought, well if Link and Zelda are a cute couple, Malon and Sheik could be together. x3

This was before I realized Zelda was Sheik. But I do love the idea of Sheik and Zelda being two separate people. ^_^

I prefer Zelda/Link. I think Link really loves Zelda. They are so cute together.

Naa...I think Link really loves Malon, and they look more cuter and adorable together.

Aww, I've never even considered Sheik and Malon! I also like the idea of Sheik as a separate person, so I wonder why I never thought of that before.... It's not like Sheik couldn't be her hero, right? Sheik did save Ruto, afterall. :>

I've always been rather partial to Sheik/Malon. She'd be intrigued by his mysterious nature, I think. And I think he'd like to have someone he could talk to, not necessarily about what was going on in the world, but just regular things. I dunno what I'm saying anymore. So I'll stop.

I don't know what doujinshi means as my Japanese is no better than my Chinese or Korean. But yeah, I like the GanonxNabooru pairing for sure. SheikxMalon is cool. Has anyone mentioned SheikxRuto yet??

i know we're all just theorizing here as if Sheik was a guy, but to me it's just a little creepy. you play through the game thinking sheik is a guy, then you get the living daylights scared out of you when you realize it's zelda.

Who's theorizing? It's my head canon that Sheik is a man. And completely separate from Zelda. :|

I thought, "Well if Link and Zelda are together, then why not Malon and Sheik?"

This was before I saw that Sheik was Zelda but I really love the whole idea of Sheik being his own person.

After it was revealed that Shiek was Zelda, Link seemed to be more shy and timid in socially interacting with Zelda after that moment. I always thought that he was unsure and maybe a little creeped out by Zelda for manipulating him to believe that she was a he.

Or maybe Link was just more shy and less socially responsive because Zelda was this beautiful woman that he had no clue on how to socially interact with her the same way he did when she was Shiek. But who knows what was going through that skull of Link's when he found out Shiek was not the guy/buddy that he was developing an emotional bond with. ShiekxLink anyone.

My views on possible oot pairings are:

Link/Saria: Although it does infer in the game that Saria may have liked Link, I see two things wrong with this. One, as others have already stated, Saria cannot age, I think that that might make any relationship they could have, a little bit awkward. Two, I see her and Link more as really close childhood friends.

Link/Navi: I don't really like even considering this pairing a possibility due to the difference in race, and in personality, but I suppose anything could happen. If anything, I feel that by the end of the game she and Link have become good friends and nothing more.

Link/Ruto: I think it could work, not the most probable relationship, but not impossible. When Link is a child, he is completely unaware that Ruto is interested in him, and at this point in time she's very bossy and full of herself (which is to be expected because as she was growing up she was probably the center of attention, her being a princess and everything) . But when you meet her again seven years later, she seems to have matured quite a bit. She hasn't had a complete personality change, but as an adult, she is definitely lovable.

Link/Impa: I can never take this one seriously, Impa is much older than Link, Link will always be a child to her, and I think that most people that "support" this pairing are joking

Link/Nabooru: I don't think that they would make a good couple, only because she is quite a bit older than him. Near the end of the game she does mention that she considers Link handsome, which makes me think that maybe, there is the smallest possibility that they could...no not really

Link/Malon: As I stated in the previous thread, this is my favorite pairing. Helping with work at the ranch could give Link the chance at a normal life that he may have yearned for after all of his adventures. And Link, being the adventurous lad that he is, could be Malon's knight in shining armor, that (according to a gossip stone) she dreams about every night. And although as a child I must admit she's a bit ditsy, she matures to be a very smart, talented young woman.

Link/Zelda: My second favorite pairing. First of all I love hero/princess relationships. Its very easy for me to see that there could be something going on between the two, especially during their cutscene in the clouds. And though some may argue that as Sheik she's only helping him to save Hyrule, I think that by watching over him as Sheik it shows that she cares, and worries about him.

Ganondorf/Zelda: IMO their personalities are just too different, although many would argue that opposites attract, I beg to differ

Zelda/Sheik: I could never picture Sheik as a seperate entity, and I don't really support self love. But if Sheik were a completely different person, and a kind of gaurdian figure, I could see how this could work.

That would be interesting to see. All we really know, or rather can assume, about ganondorf's parents is that his father was the former king of the gerudo.

My OoT pairings are:

LinkxRuto (my OTP): I loved it since I first played the game as a kid, and totally thought they should get together. She loves him, they're engaged, and it just makes a good couple in my mind. Some could say that she is annoying, but I can say the same for other characters.

LinkxMalon: It's just a really cute, homely pairing.

LinkxNabooru: What exactly was that reward she was going to give Link?

LinkxSaria: She just needs to get older

LinkxMedli: I love this pairing for some reason, screw the racial boundaries.

LinkxMila: Link's rich enough for her old lifestyle, and I just loved the scene where he catches her trying to crack the safe.

LinkxMidna: It's pretty much canon.

LinkxIlia: This one's pretty much canon too.

LinkxAshei: I like crack pairings.

LinkxRandom Zora Girl: I like the Zoras in this game, and so should Link.
