Should faries come back ?

We all know Navi, the most annoying character in a video game ever. And Tael from Majora's Mask. Both of these were pretty annoying. So do you think faries should make a return ?

Fairies have been in every game in the series.

I mean as partners in the adventure

No. The only reason for a fairy in OoT was because it was gifted to Link as a guide by the Deku Tree.
And in Majora's Mask one got left behind with Link, so he wound up with another fairy.

Other than those rare situations, there is no reason for a Hylian Hero to have a fairy.

No, it's because the game designers gave him one.

You can't seriously be using (fairly trivial) in-universe plot information as an argument against a gameplay mechanic.

i dont think it makes much of a difference if a fairys links partner or not
its kinda hard for a fairy to be part of the plot like the KoRL or midna were

Sure, why not? As long as they can make it work in the story.

Having a lot of fairies around in general? Yes.
Having a fairy as a partner? No.

In OoT, the game really called for a fairy. In MM, not so much, but it still fit. Really, I don't want Link to have another partner. I miss going it alone without some partner constantly trying to grab my attention. Unfortunately, it seems that the partner-thing has become a key part of the series, so unless they decide to develop Link's character more, there is probably going to be a partner. In that case, I'd hope they keep giving us new, unique partners. We've had a noisy fairy, a ♥♥♥♥♥y fairy, a grumpy hat, a boat that talks more than boats should, a sassy imp, and yet another fairy, but with amnesia. Now, it's looking like we're going to be getting a spirit of sorts in the next game. After that, we'll probably get a talking horse.

So, I don't think there is really any need to give us another fairy partner as they've done the fairy thing numerous times.

Yes. Any the poll should be one choice only. It dosent make sense to be able to pick multiple choices.

yes i think fairies should return i liked the info they gave on every single enemy, and they're cute glowing things

First of all, Midna looked hideous. She looked like a scrawny gibbon with odd colouring and a stupid-looking hat.

Secondly, Midna sucked because she removed any and all difficulty from the few potential challenges in the game by mollycoddling you going "LOL TEH ANSER TOO TEH PUZZIL IZ HEER YOO IDEEOT!1!!!".

Silver:Navi was different? how she basically told you exactly where to go too. Also I really don't think you can accuse Midna of having a boring(note good is debatable so i used boring instead) character design as opposed to a fairy.

YES! The faries always give you hints about enemies and tells you where you are supposed to go. If there was not a farie in PH then link wouldnt move!

It's not that so much as that it was special to have a fairy in OoT/MM. It's something that
made those games unique and different. If you include it in all the other games, it just becomes
run-of-the-mill.

I do want to see enemy info, if that targeting system remains (ugh), but that info can be
just narration. We don't need a fairy for that.

Or when you find a new enemy, you can have a bestiary whose info gets filled in.

fairies should always be the partner in a zelda game without them yhe game is completley out of whack

ellios: Then you must consider eleven out of the fourteen games out of wack. Using this logic it is more likely that three out of fourteen games(the ones with fairies) are out of wack.

I wouldn't mind having fairies in another game. Just as long as they don't interrupt you during gameplay. I'd prefer another Tatl.
