Zelda Fan no more!

I will always like the past Zelda games....but if there comes a day when Shigeru Miyamoto retires......I just might go jump off a cliff. <_>

Shiggy didn't work on some games, and he's retiring soon. What's your favorte zelda title?

Shiggy prolly isn't retiring any time soon, despite being 60+ or whatever. The guy lives and breaths Nintendo. He may retire from personal involvement in the Zelda series. That is why he hired and trained up Eji the last 10 years.

You know, Shiggy going away isn't the end of Zelda, IMO. There are some that feel Zelda would get better without him. No one knows if that is true till it happens, but we'll see.

I <3 shiggy. So what could kill this franchise for me? When they stop making console Zelda's and only give us touch screen stylus games like PH and ST.

Give me a 2D Zelda now Nintendo.

Eherm.... wasn't Shiggy the one who wanted a game like LCT, and was the one who wanted the game to be short simple and easy?

Nothing would make me not like Zelda because I have Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time which are my favorite so even if Zelda goes downhill for ever what reason it is (Not saying it will). I still have those game to enjoy over and over... For some reason I wish only had memory loss for video games so that when I play a game once I don't remember it after I beat it and then I play it again and I enjoy it over and over but there is some disadvantages to that.. But whatever I'm not saying Zelda games suck I'm just saying that would be neat.

LCT wasn't that bad. It's a good party game to keep your FPS-obsessed brother's friends busy. People play it whenever I have a party, as a HALO substitute. (I own no Xbox.)

Agreed. For what it was LCT was actually good. The only way i can see people not liking it is if they expected something more than what is aimed to be.

I don't think any one thing could ever stop me from being a fan. There are things that would greatly disappoint me, such as Zelda moving to Xbox or Playstation (which won't happen) or a refusal to use the Zelda theme in a game. But I'd still find a time to play it.

Twilight Princess used it a lot in Hyrule Field, I think.

I would never stop being a fan of the Zelda series, but I would not be a fan of a Zelda game that had the following:

1) Swearing or crudeness.
2) Too much violence that overdoes the gore (GoW style carnage)
3) Stuff that is...lewd...

Not that any of that would ever happen, but still. I wouldn't be a fan of a Zelda game like that.

Lewd? What do you mean by that? According to SVB, The Adventure of Link and Ocarina of Time had prostitutes.

And, Protagonist, PS3? Think about 360 or PC. It would be amazing.

PS3 and 360 are both awesome (though I hate the PS3 controller). But I have a feeling the graphics on Ninty's next console will be pretty damn good.

Maybe... I bet it'll be a little bit better than the Wii, almost to the level of a current next-gen system.

Hopefully, they'll make up for the wii's lack of power by making it on par with it's competitors...

I bet not. Miyamoto said that he doesn't ever want a Nintendo system to have the graphical power of its competitors. He said that he wants every Nintendo system from now on to focus much more on gameplay than graphics, like the Wii.

If that's true... Miyamoto has a couple screws loose. I don't see why he can't have both.

He says that if his people spend less time working on graphics, they can spend more time working on innovative gameplay.
