I think that the legend of zelda games should travle to the past the new games have no magic used in the game as well as new futcher wepons. I think they should go into the past a bit more and not head to far into the future.

Yeah, magic was taken out in TP & PH. It would be more fun if added.
Zelda game in the past? Sounds great. I think a game revolving around after Hyrule being built would be great. It would talk about how the Legend started and explain many things.

But we all know it would more likely make thing even more confusing...

I think the series would benefit more from an official reboot (á la James Bond) and then creating games that actually follow the new timeline religiously.

Adding stuff for the sake of adding doesn't necessarily make things more fun. Magic isn't hard to come by in the modern games, as you constantly get refills from dead enemies, bushes, chests or (free) potions. I always walk around with 90-100% magic so it's basically like having infinite ammo - which is what the devs probably realized and ditched the now useless magic system.

But I like magic. They is soo much fun. Even though Link's Awakening stands as my number one along side of Majora's Mask. The other has magic and the other doesn't, but I think that the world and story counts more than minor details about items and their usage.
