Zelda Wii Trailer in October Rumor.

I remembee hearing a rumor not to long ago that Nintendo was going to show a trailer for the new zelda game this month. I know it is highly doubtful and probably not true, but when was the trailer supposed to be released? Did the date already pass? Thanks!

There are several threads of this in the Future Zelda section. As for this thread I'm sure the lock is coming soon.

Wii accepts GCN controllers they should include that option

The date would be October 24th, Miyamoto is going to talk about his life and probably show off some things he's working on and some info of the new games that are coming out before 2010(like New Super Mario Bros and Zelda Spirit Tracks). A trailer of Zelda Wii would probably be shown. But no one should get their hopes up high. Its just a rumor anyways.

I don't know if it's likely or not but I hope so. I haven't had my Zelda fix in a while and I don't know if I can last until December.

I just hope this next Zelda fix won't be as weak as TP was. ALttP kept me high for years. OoT did the same. TP was only for a few months...and then I had that craving again. Rawr!

I actually liked TP and I feel the same way. With MM, even today, I can play it and re-play it within two months and not be tired of it. TP works like once a year. Hopefully this new one, judging from the one good picture I've seen, will hold it a little better.

That picture isn't even cool. There needs to be more, and it needs to be badass, otherwise I'm going to start losing faith in the series.

Well, it was supposed to be concept art I think. Can't expect to much out of concept art, except to tease us anyways.

In before the lock. Anyway, it would great to at least know they are working on a Wii Zelda.

Even greater if they could assure us that this one won't suck like the last few they've pumped out.

Actually, Shigeru did state at a conference that he was going to release perhaps more images of the up-coming Zelda game for the Wii, but held back because he wanted to focus more on development than showing off what they have done so far.

It sounds fair to me. It looks like they might be more serious into making this a breath-taking game than spoiling the beans and rushing the game for major disappointments.

So we should know by saturday if this rumor is true or not. I hope it is.
