What do you usually call yourself in Zelda games?

When I was younger I use to put my first name, but now that I've gotten more into Zelda I've been putting in Link. It's more relevant to the story. Also, having the protagonist of the game named after me yet look nothing like me is kind of an off put.

Usually I call him Link. I can't use my real name because I'm a girl and it's not really a unisex name. It would be way weird for me if I used my real name.

If I don't put Link, I usually put something super ridiculous for the luls or name him after a character I like in something else. I named him Anakin once in a Twilight Princess play through. Haha. That being said, I also named Epona 'ur shoe' that time, so it was clearly not a serious play through.

Like I said though, most of the time I name him Link. If I don't name him Link, it feels kind of odd for me. I usually have one permanent file that I get everything on and then never delete it so I can see if I can find anymore secrets later on. Basically, a 100% file. If it's not named Link, it gets on my nerves after awhile and I end up having to make a new permanent file. I figure always calling him Link will save me the trouble.

I name on it is Mr. Dent, it's a refrence to the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy, and it actually fits him very well! (Except for Wind Waker, because everyone talks to him like a five year old and calls him with Mister, it's very confusing!)

usually, for me it's either Dan or some random name. i just started Oracle of Ages again and this time my name is roflz. dont ask why...

Usually Just Link, although once I was Dude, it was hilarious!

When I was younger and relatively new to the series, I would use my first name. Now, and for a while now, I just use Link, because I'm so original.

Since my name is Brad, I call myself Brad.

I name myself "Link" in most games, except in the Toon Link/cel-shaded games (WW, PH, and, soon, ST), where I call myself Salinsa (hey, I thought it was a fairly heroic-sounding name when I made it up a couple of years ago!).

I always used a girl name just to be silly sometimes, but most of the time I use Link. Its normal for me.

I usually use my first name for my main save file and link for a secendary save file

It's a pretty signifcant name. Could write a book about it really. That name pretty much follows me around everywhere when it comes to naming characters in video games.
