What do you usually call yourself in Zelda games?

Default. It's simple, easy to remember, and goes well with the story.

Misspelled "Link" one day and found it hilarious. Kept it ever since then.

On my very first playthrough after I get the game, I go with Link. On my second, I go with Eddie, the easy-to-say version of my real name. After that, I just make something up. But then my little sister starts her own file with the EXACT SAME NAME, just to piss me off. Oh, and I have a file on my copy of TMC that I named RFRNCE, short for reference, my reason should be obvious.

I just stick with Link. Always have, don't see it changing anytime soon.

On the first time through I call myself "Muzzy" usually. For some reason I always feel inclined to call myself Link the second time through, though. Its strange...

I usually have either Link, or sometimes I'll just put my real name, but if I'm feeling mischievous, I'll put the name of one of the main characters and the story gets a lot more confusing.

Well, like most of the others, I also used "Link", simply because the character you are is Link. But I always kept an empty file on Link's Awakening, so I could use the name "ZELDA" over and over again..

Oh, I forgot. Crono is my other default. Another fav silent protagonist of mine. They work interchangeably.

At first i will use my first name until i beat the game.
The second time around its usually ***.

His name is Link. I never understood why go changing it. It seem so lame to put your own name there so that you could be the hero that you can't be in real life by failing eve...... And yet again I rant angrily. I'm so old cranky. But I don't like to name him other than Link. once went with "hip". Couldn't keep a straight face when the Deku Tree was talking to me. Or when me and my friend went with "Dorrrka" (Dork in finnish with 3 Rs instead of one R). You could not believe how we mainly ripped ourselves a new rear end opening when Ruto in Water temple talked to us. Try it. Seriously. Give it a go in OoT for once in your life. Make him be Dork. I entreat you to keep a straight face when people talk to you meaningfully. Bet you can't.

Usually I go with Link for the story's sake. Sometimes I'll do my first name, Joe, and just recently I started calling my new files BlackOut, in tribute to my username.

I always name him Link for my first playthrough, for tradition's sake.

Then I name him something hilarious for my second or third playthrough; using usually some sort of curse word or offensive noun.

I always use my real first name... Joseph. It just works for me, and it's cool to have the characters call you by name . It makes the experience that much more enjoyable for me.
