Evil Link

I was wondering "What if Link was the bad guy in the game?" what would be different?How would the game story line alter?So i decided to make a thred about. Leave your comments about what you think about an "Evil Link".

Evil Link would suck. (In my opinion of course.) A good antagonist must be extraordinary and cool.
Well, in my opinion, Link is not a very unique protagonist. Thus, that wouldn't make him a good antagonist, either. And I'd say he is cute, instead of cool.
So, no. Evil Link would suck. Vaati is the win.

On the contrary, an man who runs on sheer selfless disregard and will-power would make a very interesting antagonist.
People can still be selfless in pursuit of an unrighteous cause, but antagonists are never written that way since many people like simpler characters. It's hard to hate a guy who's defined by admirable traits. But, just as many stories have dishonorable protagonists, there should be more stories with admirable antagonists.

Actually, I don't like to hate antagonists. I want to know a lot of things about them, and if that happens, I just can't hate them. Usually.
